  • GET LAZY

    GET LAZY

One of the ways to bring yourself closer to your destiny is to make yourself lazy. How do I mean?

When a man is full of activities, he often feels that he’s very busy. If money were mere papers, all of us would be very rich. We will just be carrying papers around but when you get rid of those papers, you will know what you really worth.

So, making yourself lazy is getting rid of those activities that don’t add significantly to your purpose but occupy you. Those things have gradually become addictions or obsessions. It could be strolling through the status of all the enemies and friends on your contact list. It could be wandering up and down Facebook screens or crawling all over Instagram. It could be dripping on YouTube back to back. It could even be gallivanting with friends, sniffing novels, bathing in movies or sleeping over long hours phone calls with someone. All of these things will definitely reduce the amount of energy you are pumping into what is more important to you which is your purpose. It could even be cumbersome and popular religious activities. Yes, it could be spreading mats over football matches. Some of us really need weight loss. I mean, shedding away some friends! Some of us need to uninstall those games. Some need to disconnect their TVs or throw away the remotes and decoders.

I’m not saying you should stop all of these but you have to totally do away with some things. Don’t preach moderacy to yourself over what has already become an obsession, throw it out outrightly.

When you free yourself of all these excess luggage, you will suddenly become less busy, bored and lazy. At that moment, you will be asking yourself “what can I do?” “How can I get busy?” When you ask yourself this over and over, you will start making meaningful meanings in life. You will be more fulfilled! RECEIVE Grace to act now!

  • PASTOR’S DIARY: MUSIC MINISTRY

    PASTOR’S DIARY: MUSIC MINISTRY

I made a post of late where I asked a harmless and sincere question about “talk-singing”. It seems rampant these days that I really felt I was the odd one. I actually told myself: “if people didn’t enjoy it, why is it common? Ife, you are the odd one here.” But people’s comments revealed that many share the same sentiment. We can safely say, 70% of any audience do not enjoy it. And that’s big!

The aim was never to gaslight any person, people or ministry. Anyone could see that. My opinion is mine, it’s not a rule or a verdict on any ministry. Likewise, the opinions of people that commented underneath. Thus far, those opinions are both genuine and sincere.Every profession must get feedbacks from those it serves in other to improve. That’s why mobile apps chase us around for ratings and comments. If constructive criticism did not build us, what will?Music switches a person to an aura, atmosphere and mood both physically and spiritually. Anything unmusical that comes in breaks that mood and connection, no matter how good be it the word, exhortation, prayer, prophecy and what have you.

This is my counsel. And again, it’s not a law. After all, I don’t know much:

If a person gives you 15-45 minutes of his platform then he wasn’t expecting you to do any other thing than to sing exclusively not exhorting or storytelling. He would call a pastor if he needed that. If the time is given in excess, then you can tactically infuse other properties to fill it up. Remember, I said tactically. We can’t also rule out the fact that people could be led or given dimensions of ministry. However, most of what we see in many fora today is either an abuse, an excess or a misuse.

I hope these few guides would help:

    1. 1. If you want to talk (exhort or tell stories), tell people to take their seats and talk exclusively. Once you start singing, sing exclusively.
    2. 2. If you’re to lead people into prayers, there’s a way the music should go. I have enjoyed a few of them. Lead them into prayer songs exclusively. Don’t break regular songs with prayers and vice versa.
    3. 3. If you are to give words of prophecy, master the timing and the style of music. Don’t take high praise and break it with “the Lord says” or “there’s somebody here” while begging your back-up and drummers to lower the sound so people could hear. Be “stylish” with the way you handle it. I mean, be professional. Professional thinks like their customers/audience. They ask: “if am the one in the congregation, how will I love this session to go?”

Above all, you are first a music minister. Sorry about that, I may be wrong. But when people see your image on a handbill, what should first come to their minds: a prophet, an exhorter or a music minister?Think about it.

  • Pastor’s_Diary: When to say GOD SAYS 3

Pastor’s_Diary: When to say GOD SAYS 3

PASTORS_DIARY When To Say God Says, Part III

At last, the third and likely the last of the series. In the first part, I listed “when not to say, God, says” and in the second, I listed “when to say, God, says”. Glory to God for the impact both editions had. I promised that in this third edition, we would examine “how to deliver prophetic messages”. This is a very slippery path where understanding is highly required.

    • Never Inject Fear-
There was a day, one of our leaders sent a voice note to me. Someone had seen a vision about our ministry. He was crying and doing all sorts before he could deliver his message. I discarded the whole of it- both his tears and the fears he was trying to inject and none of what he said ever happened. Don’t get emotional with the message. Don’t threaten people. Don’t make them fearful. The Bible says when God speaks, He will speak peace (Ps85:8). Anything short of that is either an exaggeration or a lie.
    • Best to say what you saw in all simplicity.
Has God shown you a vision? At times, all you are required to do is to tell the person what you have seen. It holds more meaning to them than it means to you. You must have heard Prophets said something like, “I saw doughnuts, what does it mean”. The prophet didn’t know what it meant but he knew what he saw and he only said that. The person may say, that’s what she sells or that she dreamt of being fed doughnuts in the dream. Where you are not given interpretation, just say what you saw and let them explain.
    • Best say it as you received it.
You must have seen prophets ministering to someone and say, I hear “Lagos”. It is the person that will explain what the implication of Lagos is to them. If you don’t receive beyond the word, don’t dig, just simply tell them. At times, you may see and also receive a simple meaning (pointer). Don’t try to make it look complicated, just state the simple meaning.
    • Best Avoid “God says” when it’s just an impression:
an impression is the lowest form of prophetic revelation yet very powerful but it could be wrong at least 2 out of 10 times. So, when you feel or something is impressed upon your heart or you perceived or sense. Simply tell the person: I feel, I perceive, it occurs to me that…..don’t go about saying God says
    • Best say “God Says”: you know the prophetic can be very dicey. At times what is required of you is to emphasize, “God says”. I have ministered before and told people, ” I can tell you this without saying, “God says” but God wants me to add it”.At this point, you may be wondering how to know which you are to say or do. You may think you could ask God or the Holy Spirit but that can make you further confused. We grow in this thing by knowledge and use. The Bible says mature men have trained their senses to discern. That is, you will just know what to do as soon as the prophetic lands. There’s a stage where God leads you and another stage where God sends you. That’s what I’m talking about. You just know what to do and when and how at this stage.
    • Best Pray or just give the message:
you know at times, you don’t need to say you saw something or that you heard anything. You just said it in prayer or give the warning. This shows maturity. I do this for those who love revelations. Once I finish praying and they ask “what did you see?”, I tell them to pick it out from the prayers I just made. At times, I give the warning. And when they ask about what I saw or heard, I tell them to just take heed to the warnings or instruction.
    • Don’t interpret from your standpoint:
There was a prophet who told the father of a young man not to bother to send his son to school because he was going to become a mechanic. The father sent his son to school anyway. It was when he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer that they realised the prophet saw well but interpreted wrongly. Many make mistakes at the point of deriving meanings. And that’s the essence of knowledge and experience.
    • If you refused to grow, you will be mixing up meanings and interpretation. Again growth comes from knowledge & use. We grow out of prophetic mistakes. All of us, at one point or the other, had missed it.

There are more things I wish to say which couldn’t be contained in this article and I wish to end this series. However, I have a BONUS for you. We have over 10 distinctive lectures in our School of the Prophetic. I will be releasing one of it which directly addressed how to get correct meanings, interpret and communicate them. Go to our Telegram channel via t.me/sadozite you will see “KBI-SOTP-RIM I” RIM means Revelation, Interpretation and Ministering. Please be informed that it will only be available for 2days: today, Sunday & Monday. We don’t usually do this but wanted you to have balanced knowledge. I hope you take advantage of it.

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

    TIME :
Ask any serious man, he is always accused by his wife that he doesn’t have time for her. Most especially when the man doesn’t work from home. Even those that work from home receive the same accusation. The man is left to wonder that “if he doesn’t make money, is it not the wife that will first complain?”

    A. Guilty as charged
Men are guilty of not spending quantity time with their family. I learnt from Brian Tracy that the time a man spends at work is measured in quality but the time spent at home should be measured in quantity. This, I found very difficult to understand and I am yet to fully get it but I’m improving.

Three activities matter to a man: working, meaningful discussion, a little leisure spent on hobbies or the kind of fun he loves. And so, a man is pissed with just sitting with his wife looking at each other’s eyes or chatting away thus, he picks his phone to scroll the internet.

    B. Your wife is not a pet.
You rub the head of a pet dog on your way out in the morning. When you arrive, it waggles its tail at you and you briefly caress it. You give it food and anytime you are free, you do it favour of spending a little time with it. You make it sit and watch you read the newspaper on your rocking chair. You do all these to a pet and it will love you. Do that for your wife, she will bite you.

She’s your companion, she wants you to talk or listen to her talk. She wants you in her own time, not just at your own time.

    C. Stop asking
What have I gained with this time? Or how much has it put in my pocket? Stop saying, “I would know how much have made if I spend the same time at my shop”. You gain a lot when you gist with your wife or partner. You gain her heart. You make her joyful and proud. Do that and watch her turned into an angel, unlike the witch you had believed she was.
    _
    C. When accused .
Probably, the time a man is accused of ignoring her wife or partner is the most painful because of course, most of what he does is for her sake. However, that is the time you need to take a deep breath and apologize then try to make up. Don’t give excuses. Don’t say: “should I leave my work ni?” Don’t say, “won’t I rest after a very busy day?” Please, don’t ever say that you expected her to be understanding. Any wife who claims she’s understanding is faking and enduring it. That moment she’s accusing you is her breaking point, ignore her and she will be depressed. Behind her fierce anger and accusation is a cool-headed motherly hearted woman. Dissolve the shell with soft words and you will see that the food that will await you in the evening will be amazingly good.

    D. Make the little time count.
Check on her every time you’re at work.Drop SMS or chat. Gist even when you are away. Eulogize her on your social media status. Always comment on the food before she asked if you enjoyed it. Comment even before you commence eating. Say, thank you for the food. Also, after sex, thank her.

    E. Listen to her all the time you’re listening.
Listening halfway while working or busy with your phone is as good as ignoring her. Even if she disturbs your work, listen to her and it would worth it. If my wife interrupts my work and I ignore her, I usually lose concentration and feel guilty but when I listen attentively, she does free me after few minutes and I enjoy the other part of the work. The truth is, the busier and engaged you are, the more she loves and misses you. The idler you are, the more she’s bored around you. So, after a long day, create her own time and give it to her. Never allow her to get used to talking to outsiders. Be her best friend. Give her a listening ear. Any wife or fiancee that has any other best friend is not enjoying the marriage or relationship.
    _
    F. Public Holidays
Public holidays often come as gifts to the civil servants. You can’t be busy all the time. There are certain days and hours you are less busy. That time often comes after a long hard-working time. In that period, let her enjoy you. Keep your phone away and do things together. Do this not just because of her but because of yourself.

    G. Get her busy not with house chores.
You will never enjoy the best of your wife until she doesn’t have to do the house chores or cook fresh meals every day. Three house chores my wife doesn’t do: washing/ironing of clothes, washing of plates & sweeping. I hope to continue shrinking her house chores until she has almost nothing left. This is not expensive to achieve, just make a move. Lend her a helping hand and stay around the kitchen sometimes when she cooks. As you become more comfortable, get the work reduced. Let her get busy with purpose-driven activities and imparts. You will realize that the accusation of “not enough time” will drop from 100 to 10 immediately. Wives that stays at home all day, complain the most. Especially if she does nothing except house chores. My apology.

    1. SEX
Sex is the second area a man struggles with the most.
The problem associated with sex varies from family to family. To a man, it is that his wife doesn’t like sex while he loves it, to another, the wife likes sex but he doesn’t like it. And to another, he is fed up that he is unable to satisfy his wife most of the time or even all the time. Many women had never reached orgasm all their lives despite spending years in the marriage. To another, his wife doesn’t add icing to the sex to make it more enjoyable. The most healthy sex life in marriage is at least every other day or 3-4 times a week.

These struggles are real and heart borne. Meet with a counsellor, most especially a sex therapist as a couple or go to YouTube. You will learn a lot from how to last long to giving your wife an orgasm. Please, don’t take drugs and do not watch pornography. Porns doesn’t teach sex, it only acts what sex is not. And please, you have no business researching sex if you are not married.

But wait o. Why does it seem like this piece is meant for mother’s day? Actually, when men learn this, they have more rest of mind and leave longer.

    Happy Babas day

  • Pastors_Diary: WHEN TO SAY “GOD SAYS” II

Pastors_Diary: WHEN TO SAY “GOD SAYS” II

In the second part of this article. Our focus would be “When to say, God, says”. But let’s start by highlighting the things we said about WHEN NOT TO SAY, GOD, SAYS:

“`1. When you require counsel from your spiritual father.

    1. When speaking to the elderly
    2. When you are not sure
    3. When details are required
    4. When lying
    5. When presiding
    6. When it’s too much
    7. When spitting others.“`

Let’s move on to ” WHEN TO SAY, GOD SAYS”.

    1. When giving prophecy:
Talking about prophecy, I’m talking about forth-telling not foretelling or what have you. When you are giving prophecy in 1st person singular, you’re expected to start with ” thus saith the Lord”.
    2. When Necessary:
Like I explained in the first part, certain things require you to tell certain people emphatically that it was as God says. For instance, in choosing a life partner or being called into the ministry. Meanwhile, it is not everyone you need to tell “God says” in those cases thus, the reason I wrote “certain” people.
    3. When Commanded:
There are times when God particularly commands people to emphasize that He is the sole source of the information or statement. Jonah for instance, emphatically told the people that “God said” and it led to genuine repentance.
    4. When it’s an instruction.
Sounds like the preceding point but it’s not the same. There are times God gives instructions that you must always say, “God says” every time you talk about certain things. This helps to stir the faith of people. Kenneth Hagin said that God told him to always tell people that he saw Jesus and that Jesus touched his palm with the unction to heal. For as long as he said that, God assured him that healing would occur. Many must have heard me read the story of the woman with the issue of blood with the notion that God said that anytime I read from that story to the people, healing is certain. God instructed me to always say it to people. Such instructions are not to be joked with but you are required to stay within the scope.
    5. When it’s exceptionally critical.
This appeals to our discretion. God may not have commanded or instructed you but you know that unless you tell them that it was God God that told you, the information will not achieve its aim then, wisdom requires you inject “God says”. Meanwhile, take note not to over-emphasize it. At times, It is just good to say “God says” in the first line only and not repeatedly during the speech. Also, when adding details from your thought, do not add “God says”. Learn from Agabus . He knew when to say God said and when to keep shut. When God showed him something about Paul, he only said and demonstrated what he saw with the prefix- “thus saith the Lord”. He didn’t make the mistake of insinuating that God asked him to warn Paul against travelling. 6. When it is prophetic
When God showed you a revelation or spoke to you prophetically, it may require that you acknowledge Him as the source. However, this is very dicey and delicate thus, wisdom is highly required in delivering prophetic messages.
If you don’t mind, we can have part 3 to address “how to relate visions & revelations” to people.
  • WHEN SITUATION GO WORSE

    WHEN SITUATION GO WORSE

    Passage: Mark 9:20-27
    Focus:    v23
“What do you mean, If I can? Jesus asked. Anything is possible if a person believes.”

One of the spiritual principles believers must understand is that, at times, when you pray about a situation, it may appear as if it is getting worse but it is actually getting solved. But if you think the situation has gone worse and you start doubting, it will result that way.

Let’s take a look at the case study of the boy in Mark 9 from verse 20: So they brought the boy. But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth. 21How long has this been happening? Jesus asked the boys father. He replied, Since he was a little boy. 22The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.

Imagine the evil spirit throwing the boy down in front of JESUS. The Bible says the spirit threw him into a VIOLENT convulsion. But all the evil spirit was doing was to cast a fear in the heart of the father and scare Jesus. The father told Jesus “Have mercy on us and help us, if you can. “If” is a statement of doubt and disbelief. It is anti-faith and we don’t use it while speaking! Jesus corrected him: it is not about me, but about you! v23 What do you mean, If I can? Jesus asked. Anything is possible if a person believes. The man asked Jesus to help him and that he believed. Now, watch it, when Jesus commanded the evil spirit out, the boy’s situation seems to get worst! The spirit threw him into another VIOLENT convulsion and it seems to have killed him! So much that the people said he was dead! v25 When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak, he said. I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again! Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said, He’s dead. But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up. The boy was well and alive! Jesus lifted him up.

May the Communion of the Holy Spirit be with you! Amen

    PYP:
I think we should pray now! Jump up and call on JESUS: say the last time I see this issue, is the last time I will ever see it in Jesus Name. You know that issue, you should rebuke it violently! Rebuke it and ask it not to come again! Amen!

  • Pre Adamic world 3

    Pre Adamic world 3

    Pre-Adamic World III
    By; Ife Adetona ©SADOZ 11/02/21

There is something about deep mysteries of the Scriptures, it is very slippery. It looks like a conspiracy theory. In a conspiracy theory, you may think that you have fixed the puzzles and have gotten all things right without knowing that you have missed it and deviated in many parts.

So far, in series I & II, we have been able, by His Grace to clarify the meanings of some Scriptures used by “Pre-Adamic advocates”. And in this edition, I will talk about Ezekiel 28:13a

“You were in Eden, the garden of God”.

With that passage, they have said Lucifer was the first resident of Eden. But this can’t be true except they are saying that there were two Edens- one before Adam and another after Adam. See the Scriptures: Gen. 2:8

Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made.

With all indications, this doesn’t looks like what God was doing for the second time. It was the first time. The Bible says…and there he placed man-Adam. Read verse 9 of that passage to see how God planted and set the trees in His garden.

So, referring to “Lucifer” as an occupant of Eden in Ezekiel is only a poetic term. It was only used figuratively to give a close picture of what happened. It is like telling you that “the fellowship of yesterday was haven” or, “there home is Eden”. There are other places in the Bible where Eden was used figuratively. In the same Book of Ezekiel, Chapter 31:8, the nation of Assyria was referred to as a tree in Eden.

Meanwhile, the passage we are discussing was not only referring to Lucifer. Infact, contextually, it has nothing to do with Lucifer but by understanding, we know it also addresses him.

Now, let me teach you something. Poetic and Prophetic books of the Bible like Ezekiel are the most dicey to interpret but if you know the key, it will be easy. The first key is that, they talk in tenses. They can talk about the present, past or future tense within a single verse or chapter. The second key is that “they usually have two to three referents- that is, whom they are referring to”. So, before you interpret any line, ask yourself: “to whom was this said”, it could be one or two or even three. The writer could be referring to himself, or an immediate character or a distant character. That is why, when you read Psalms, a verse may be referring to David and then the next line within the same verse, is prophetically referring to Jesus Christ. At some other times, the same verse could address both David and Jesus Christ.

Let’s go back to the book of Ezekiel. That verse was essentially referring to both “the King of Tyre” and “Lucifer”, comparing them to “Adam” who was sent away from Eden after he sinned. The King of Tyre sinned, and God also sent him away from His glory. Lucifer also sinned and was sent away.

If there are Scriptures that truly proves that there was a Pre-Adamite world, I will believe it but the ones I have seen and read so far, I am sorry, to say, they were coined to back a pre-conceived theory.

  • PRE- ADAMIC WORLD 2

    PRE- ADAMIC WORLD 2

    Pre_Adamic_World_II

    By_Ife_Adetona

In this edition, I will talk about “replenish” as used by God in Genesis 1:28: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and REPLENISH the earth.”

Scholars who believed that some beings or kind of humans once inhabited the earth always refer to God asking man to replenish the earth as a strong point. Their standpoint is that, “replenish” means to refill or renew and so how would God ask men to replenish the earth if not that it was once corrupted by some kind of creation.

I must confess that it took me years to unlock this part. While I was meditating on it one night, the Holy Spirit told me to check the dictionary. I knew I had done that before but I obliged to check again. I was surprised to realize that the archaic meaning of the word “replenish” is “to fill”. That means, when KJV was written, the word “replenish” means “to fill” the earth and not to refill or renew the earth. Then, I checked modern translations and I realized they used the word “fill the earth.” See Amplified:

“And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and FILL THE EARTH. Gen1:28.”

I decided to check the original Hebrew word that was used and I found “mâlê’ mâlâ.” Guess the meaning? It simply means “to fill”.

In this light, we know that God asking men to mâlê’ mâlâ the earth means to occupy and fill the new earth He just created and it by no means talk about re-filling.

I should also state that, to avoid falling into error, when you see a minister stand on the altar breaking deep rhemas and mysteries (quote and unquote), take notes and go back to check your Bible. Check the dictionary, other versions and even indigenous translations (e.g, Yoruba Bible). This will also prevent you from teaching errors from your personal study. If you download my teaching, “Hebrew and Greek Tutorial” on t.me/sadozite or on naijasermon app, you will learn how to trace Hebrew and Greek source words with meanings.

In the next series, I hope to clarify the Prophetic books of the Bible being used by some preachers to assert that Lucifer once lived in the Garden of Eden.

  • PRE- ADAMIC WORLD l (Pst. Ife Adetona)

PRE- ADAMIC WORLD l (Pst. Ife Adetona)

This is one topic being discussed as a “mystery” in Christendom. Many respected ministers of God have asserted that there was indeed a “pre-Adamic World”. By this, they mean that there was a set of people or beings who occupied the planet Earth before Adam came to be. A preacher said Lucifer was sent like Jesus to those people but he rebelled against God and won those people to his side. Another respected minister of the gospel said, it was those people that became demons. He said demons were not the fallen angels but the set of people who occupied the first world. Another minister alludes that there were also animals in that world.

Believe me, the ministers which I quoted above with names withheld are men and masters whom I hold in high esteem till date only that I disagree with some of their opinions on this subject matter.

    Let’s start like this:

    1. “Was there a pre-adamic world?”
It depends on what this grammar means to you. Before Adam was created, there was something. And from my study, that is nothing but the “spirit world”. That was when the angels were made or created. Each of the angels were moulded by God. They don’t have an ancestry like human beings. So, as many as they are, God formed each of them.

The rebellion of Satan against God was also before the Adamic age. If you read the account in the book of Revelation, you may think it happened much later or in-between. I guess that was why some people have suggested that there were two categories of men or beings that occupied the earth.

The first argument of those who believed in a pre-Adamic being is that there was a GAP in-between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. Those who talk about this tends to sound sincerely deep but there’s actually nothing deep about it. Any literature student will understand that it was just a writing style.

    Genesis 1:1 says,
In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the earth.

    And verse 2 says,
And the earth was without form, and void.

With that sequence, people assumed that, after God had created heaven and earth, something happened that made the earth became VOID and FORMLESS. But that’s a misunderstanding.

In literature, this is a style of writing which “concludes a story before saying the details”. Have you tried to watch a movie before and out of curiosity, you told a friend to tell you the end before you commence watching it? Like, you asked your friend, “did the actor die at the end”? That was exactly what happened here. The writer of Genesis told us God created the heaven and the earth and then explained to us how the heaven (firmament) was made as well as the earth.

This same style of writing was adopted through the Old Testament especially in the account of 2Kings and the Chronicles. A chapter would open by saying, a king reigned and did evil and the next verse will tell us about his reign details. This same style was used in Genesis 1:27. The passage states that God made all men in his image but told us the details of that creation in Chapter 2. Some have misunderstood this passage as well and assumed that God made some set of men in Chapter 1 before making Adam in Chapter 2.

With this understanding, we can therefore read Genesis 1:1-2 this way; “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The space which we now call earth used to be without form, and void, (full of waters)….”

Remember that another word for “earth” is sand, land or soil. If I want to sound deep, I will take you to the Hebrew rendition-“‘erets”. “Erets” simply means land. So, this space wasn’t called Earth until God asked land to appear. Read:

    Genesis 1:8-9
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry LAND APPEAR: and it was so.
10 And God called the DRY LAND EARTH….

In the subsequent series, by God’s grace, I will clarify other passages used by ministers to support pre-Adamic beings. But before I end this, I want to emphasize to you that the heaven created in Genesis Chapter 1 is not the heaven where God dwells, it is the firmament, the sky that we can see. This is also known as, the first heaven. The third Heaven is where the throne of God is.

    Genesis 1:8.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

    CHRISTMAS CONTROVERSY

    Timothy 1:4″

Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do”

Should we celebrate Christmas? Merry Christmas to you! I can’t imagine believers and even Christian leaders causing a fuss over this matter. When we leave the core of Christianity and pursue the unnecessary doctrines, we tend to veer from the truth like some people who are now with the devil, fallen from grace.

If I celebrate Christmas, what effect does it have on my Christianity and if I don’t, what effect does it have on my faith? Nothing and absolutely nothing. Some laid claims that the Christmas celebration is idolatry and it was in memory of some Roman gods. I want to ask: when you hear Christmas, what comes to your mind —Jesus’ sacrifice or some unknown gods? Whatever comes to your mind is the reason and motivation behind your celebration. When you have a clear conscience, you are at peace with God. God doesn’t have issues with you celebrating Christmas or not, but you start having issues with your faith when you get distracted by such fables.

Some have also asked, “Do we need a special day to recognize Jesus birth?” I agree that we can celebrate and should celebrate Jesus every day of our lives but let me register it to you that Satan is having issues with Christmas celebration and that is why he is sponsoring so many arguments along the line. Forgetfulness, they say, is a blessing to the human race and we don’t forget things suddenly but gradually. It is the importance of a thing that first fades away before the event is entirely forgotten, thus the need for memorials to refresh our minds. God told the Israelite pilgrims en route Canaan land to keep objects and materials as reminders in teaching their unborn generations. This will make them reverence their God. I believe that is the wisdom behind museums today. Jesus also instructed us to keep the Holy Communion mainly as a memorial before other purposes.

Back to Christmas celebration, it is a period where the sacrifice of Jesus is refreshed upon our minds. It is our memorial. No matter how holy or spiritual you have been all the year, when it is Christmas, there is an aura that brings us more into the reality of our Saviour.

Let’s celebrate our Christmas, let it be a period to re-unite with family members, friends, relations and reach out to the unsaved and unbelieving neighbours as we go on to remember the precious sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

However, if you haven’t experienced salvation and you claim to celebrate Christmas, even if your name is Jeremiah, you have no portion in the everlasting life. You don’t get born again by birth or naturalization, you get saved by seeing a need and going for it. You can have it now.

Say this prayer, _”Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and personal Saviour today. I believe in your death and resurrection and sacrifice for my sins. I receive the grace to continue in my walk of faith in Jesus name.”_ Contact the source of this devotional for follow up. Thank you.

May the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you!
