  • IMMORTAL KOMBAT (II)

    IMMORTAL KOMBAT (II)

I have been to several prayer meetings that the only prayer said in the meeting was prayer against enemies. I have met with several pastors whose area of ministerial calling is to be an enemy fighter.

But the question we should ask ourselves is, “Is what we are doing biblical?” Certainly, we established from the Bible, in the last part, that the enemies exist and in fact the Bible gives us some fighting techniques which we would be looking at in subsequent parts of this series.

This sect of people always get confused whenever they read the word of Jesus concerning how we deal with the enemy.

    Matthew 5:43-44
[43]Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
    [44]But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

I told you I have always been with this sect of people and in fact I grew up among them and I always see confusion whenever we are dealing with particular word of Jesus.

The question that we ask is “Why do we pray against our enemies when Jesus said we should love them and pray for them?” And the answer is this: People approach Christian warfare as a Mortal Kombat but it should be dealt with immortally.

Mortal Kombat will point at one old Grandma in your family that has this wicked attitude towards everyone but Immortal Kombat will address the spirit that is pushing the woman to do such act.

Mortal Kombat will hate that woman physically but immortal Kombat will love her, bless her and do good to her physically.

Mortal Kombat addresses issues with physical lens but Immortal Kombat addresses it with the perspective of the Spirit because the spiritual controls the physical.

Mortal Kombat deals with a human figure but immortal Kombat deals with a spirit figure.

We will discuss the fighting strategy in the next part. Are you blessed? Type: I’M A SPIRIT.

  • IMMORTAL KOMBAT (I)

    IMMORTAL KOMBAT (I)

Can you remember the popular game called Mortal Combat? It’s called such because it’s a fight between two mortal men. But today we will be talking about the the concept of fight of the immortals. The immortals are spirits and of course I want you to know that the real you is your spirit man. You’re not mortal but an immortal.

We as spirit men have an enemy which is immortal too, infact our fight is not physical at all but spiritual. We orchestrate our fighting styles from the spirit realm.

In this first part of the article, I want to open your eyes to the realization of the fact that enemies exist and in the subsequent parts, we will dive more into how to deal with them.

    1. Abrahamic Covenant
      Genesis 12:3
[3]And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Do you notice that this covenant says that there are so many people that will or that are blessing you ….them that bless you….. but you have one person somewhere that’s cursing you …… Curse him that curse you……? If we are entitled to the blessing of Abraham then we must register it in our hearts that an enemy exists.

    1. A soldier’s mentality
      2 Timothy 2:3-4
[3]Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
[4]No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

The Bible likens us to a soldier that’s preparing for war in this verse. When you hear about war, the first thing that will come to your mind is a fight between two parties. This should register in your mind that we as believers have an enemy and must always be alert to wage war against him.

    1. The Parable of the wheat and tares
      Matthew 13:24-25
[24]Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
[25]But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

This parable points to the kingdom of heaven and of course who are the citizens of the kingdom? Believers of course. When this man slept, the enemy who had been looking for a means of access into this man then had his way.

Who is the enemy of the believers?
Watch out for more light in the next part.

  • OJUJU 2(Dealing With Bad Dream)

    OJUJU 2(Dealing With Bad Dream)

Bad dream is nothing but an empty lie from the devil and the intent is to inject fear into the life of the host so he can have access into his/her life.

Let’s check the life of Job. Most of us have always been accusing God for granting the devil access to Job’s life, but the fact is that Job himself allowed the devil to have access into his life because he allowed fear into his heart.

    Job 3:25
[25]For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Before Job was afflicted by the devil, Job would always sit down and imagine himself losing his possessions, he would even draw the image of abject poverty out of his wealth and after this, he would become AFRAID. Fear will never add anything to you, it would rather unlock the gate of your life to a thief called the devil. Whatever your fear allows, is allowed to fall on you greatly.

    IMAGINATION = Image + Animation
The dream you had is an image in an animated form and this can be in two ways: it’s either from God or from the devil.

If you have a dream and it’s from God, its purpose is to give you an information and to pray about it. And immediately you wake up, you’re going to have an inner witness about it from the Lord without an iota of fear. But if it brings fear, you should be aware that it’s from the devil.

    2 Corinthians 10:5
    [5]Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Apostle Paul says we should always cast down every imagination (Bad dream) that exalted itself above the knowledge of God (Word of God). Meaning that if the word of God says, “with long life will I satisfy thee”, and the dream is telling you that you had an accident or someone killed you, this one is above the knowledge of God already. So, you have to cast it down or rebuke it.

How do you achieve this? You quote whatever the word of God says pertaining to what you saw in your dream and then you undo it by praying the word of God and after doing this, the fear will be scared and that’s how you win the battle.

Do you have any question? If yes, please drop it in the comment box. If no, can you appraise us?

  • OJUJU

    OJUJU

OJUJU (The Fear of Bad Dream)

OJUJU is a masquerade in the Calabar tribe of Nigeria. The look of this masquerade is very scary and it injects fear in the hearts of the viewer. Whenever parents wanted to scare a child, they would say, “I’ll call Ojuju for you!” On hearing this, the child would immediately comply with the parents’ instructions out of fear. As the child grows, s/he will never be scared again because what was used to scare him/her is an empty lie.

That is the Ojuju for the children but I’m writing this in order to inform you about the Ojuju that the devil uses for the believers which we are ignorant of and that is what I call bad dreams. Can you echo that?

If an elderly person can use Ojuju to scare the little child, the little child will accept everything that the elderly person brings without any CONTROVERSY, but as the child grows, if the elderly brings an option that is unfavorable, (s)he’ll either accept or reject. This is what happens to you when you have a bad dream. The devil brings an Ojuju (bad scene) to you in your dream and as you wake up, you wallow in fear of everything that happened in the dream. As you allow fear, you are like that child that accepts that the occurrence should come on you. The main aim of bad dreams is to make you afraid but if you can’t be afraid then you’ve scared your fear.

Imagine that when you slept, you saw someone with a cutlass chasing you to kill you, the first question that should come to your mind is that if the person wants to kill you, will he first come to your dream to notify you? No. Why? Because if he notifies you, he’s so sure that you will run away, that’s why you should know that such dream is an empty lie.

Are you saying “I’ve had bad dreams before and it came to pass that same way I saw it”? If that is your case, I’ll say you accepted it. When bad dreams come, you’re either to ACCEPT or REJECT.
You accept by fearing and you reject by Faith(ing). You reject by boldly telling the devil what the Bible says (I’m going to expound this in the second part).

Think about this, You may not be able to stop your mobile network providers from sending their messages to you everyday but you can keep deleting it, you may not be able to hinder your TV stations from advertising their products while watching a program but you can always change the channel, you may not be able to stop bad dreams from coming too but you can keep rejecting it.

Also note that we call it bad dreams and everything that is bad is from the devil but everything that’s good is from God.
    James 1:17
[17]Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Can you confess this: “THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!” ?

  • YOM KIPPUR

    YOM KIPPUR

The word “Yom” is an Hebrew word which means “Day“. Kippur means “Atonement“. Merging both words, we then have Day of Atonement.

Yom Kippur is a Jewish day to atone for misdeeds and become cleansed and purified from them. On this day, the Jews observe this feast with a long fast and intensive prayer but our focus today is how the atonement is being made.

    ELEMENTS OF THE ATONEMENT

    1. An High Priest: He is the one that makes all the necessary procedures for the atonement.
    2. A Bull and a Ram: for the covering of the priest’s sins and that of his family.
    3. Two Goats : one for the Israelites’ sin offering and the other as a scape goat which will be sent to the wilderness.
    4. One Ram: for the Israelites’ atonement as well.
    5. Incense: the smoky perfume that covers the mercy seat.

    PROCEDURE

    1. Aaron will first offer for himself and his family a bull and a ram offering which is for the cleansing of sins. Leviticus 16:11
    2. He shall then take the incense with him (incense is like a pounded coil, which when put into fire gives a smoky perfume) to the mercy seat so that he can make atonement for his sin. The smoke is going to cover the whole house that when God looks down from the mercy seat He will only see a cloud and an inviting aroma and this will allow Aaron to offer sacrifices for his own sin and that of his family. Leviticus 16:12
    3. After doing this, he will go out start the process of the Israelites’ atonement. He will start by casting a lot and killing the one that the lot falls on for the sacrifice and send the other one to the wilderness of Azazel. Leviticus 16:8-10,14
    4. He shall sprinkle the blood of the slain goat for the remission of the people’s sin and shall burn the rest of the animal whose blood was taken off. Leviticus 16:15

    JESUS IN THE PICTURE

    1. Jesus is the High Priest, He’s Holy and blameless, He doesn’t need to make any sacrifice for Himself before He can have access to the Father.

    Hebrews 7:27
[27]Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

    1. The incense was grounded, beaten and battered and this represents how Jesus was beaten, battered, shattered and battered at the cross so as to grant us access to the Father.
    2. Jesus is also the slain goat that covers the Israelites’ sin but He is still alive.
    3. Jesus is the scape goat that was sent to the wilderness but He went to the wilderness (grave) and returned to give us the gift of righteousness.

Can you see how wise our God is? Jesus remains the only way out of life’s troubles and outside of Him, nobody can be saved.

Are you saved? Type “Thank you Jesus for saving me”. And if you’re not saved, then confess Him as your Lord and Savior.

  • PRE- ADAMIC WORLD l (Pst. Ife Adetona)

PRE- ADAMIC WORLD l (Pst. Ife Adetona)

This is one topic being discussed as a “mystery” in Christendom. Many respected ministers of God have asserted that there was indeed a “pre-Adamic World”. By this, they mean that there was a set of people or beings who occupied the planet Earth before Adam came to be. A preacher said Lucifer was sent like Jesus to those people but he rebelled against God and won those people to his side. Another respected minister of the gospel said, it was those people that became demons. He said demons were not the fallen angels but the set of people who occupied the first world. Another minister alludes that there were also animals in that world.

Believe me, the ministers which I quoted above with names withheld are men and masters whom I hold in high esteem till date only that I disagree with some of their opinions on this subject matter.

    Let’s start like this:

    1. “Was there a pre-adamic world?”
It depends on what this grammar means to you. Before Adam was created, there was something. And from my study, that is nothing but the “spirit world”. That was when the angels were made or created. Each of the angels were moulded by God. They don’t have an ancestry like human beings. So, as many as they are, God formed each of them.

The rebellion of Satan against God was also before the Adamic age. If you read the account in the book of Revelation, you may think it happened much later or in-between. I guess that was why some people have suggested that there were two categories of men or beings that occupied the earth.

The first argument of those who believed in a pre-Adamic being is that there was a GAP in-between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. Those who talk about this tends to sound sincerely deep but there’s actually nothing deep about it. Any literature student will understand that it was just a writing style.

    Genesis 1:1 says,
In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the earth.

    And verse 2 says,
And the earth was without form, and void.

With that sequence, people assumed that, after God had created heaven and earth, something happened that made the earth became VOID and FORMLESS. But that’s a misunderstanding.

In literature, this is a style of writing which “concludes a story before saying the details”. Have you tried to watch a movie before and out of curiosity, you told a friend to tell you the end before you commence watching it? Like, you asked your friend, “did the actor die at the end”? That was exactly what happened here. The writer of Genesis told us God created the heaven and the earth and then explained to us how the heaven (firmament) was made as well as the earth.

This same style of writing was adopted through the Old Testament especially in the account of 2Kings and the Chronicles. A chapter would open by saying, a king reigned and did evil and the next verse will tell us about his reign details. This same style was used in Genesis 1:27. The passage states that God made all men in his image but told us the details of that creation in Chapter 2. Some have misunderstood this passage as well and assumed that God made some set of men in Chapter 1 before making Adam in Chapter 2.

With this understanding, we can therefore read Genesis 1:1-2 this way; “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The space which we now call earth used to be without form, and void, (full of waters)….”

Remember that another word for “earth” is sand, land or soil. If I want to sound deep, I will take you to the Hebrew rendition-“‘erets”. “Erets” simply means land. So, this space wasn’t called Earth until God asked land to appear. Read:

    Genesis 1:8-9
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry LAND APPEAR: and it was so.
10 And God called the DRY LAND EARTH….

In the subsequent series, by God’s grace, I will clarify other passages used by ministers to support pre-Adamic beings. But before I end this, I want to emphasize to you that the heaven created in Genesis Chapter 1 is not the heaven where God dwells, it is the firmament, the sky that we can see. This is also known as, the first heaven. The third Heaven is where the throne of God is.

    Genesis 1:8.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

  • DIVISION OF LABOUR

    DIVISION OF LABOUR

Division of Labour is a management term which means that a person does not do all the work by him/herself but delegates it to others to do for him/her.

Our God is a wise planner, and He is strategic in His planning, He doesn’t do all the work Himself but has given some part of His work to us.

This is the ultimate division of labour by God:

    Acts 10:38
[38]How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

God’s portion of the Labour: Anoint Jesus with the Holy Ghost

Holy Ghost’s portion : To anoint Jesus

    Jesus portion : Healing all

    Devil’s portion : Oppressing all

Our portion: Partner with Jesus in Healing all

    Ephesians 2:6
[6]And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

So, we are meant to heal the sick and not even to fall sick, that’s why we are to lay our hands on the sick and they shall be healed.

Can you confess your reality by typing:I AM FOR THE HEALING OF NATIONS?

  • THE BLOOD 2( The Ultimate Price for Redemption)

THE BLOOD 2( The Ultimate Price for Redemption)

    You’re welcome to Healingnexusblog again.

We are still on our YESHUA series. And today, we shall be considering The Mystery of Redemption.

    THE INNOCENT LAMB
God’s standard for redemption has stood sure since the beginning of the world and the standard is that without remission of blood, there is no covering for sin. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, they both used fig leaves as a covering for themselves but that alone could not cover their sins, God Himself had to kill an innocent lamb and use its skin to cover their nakedness.

    Genesis 3:21
[21]Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

The innocent lamb was a typology of the blood of Jesus that was shed for our sins; even when He knew no sin, He died for us.

    CAIN AND ABEL
What about the case of Cain and Abel? God had to receive the sacrifice of Abel and reject that of Cain because Abel’s sacrifice came through the path of the blood of an innocent sheep meanwhile that of Cain was just tilled from the ground.

    Genesis 4:2-4
[2]And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
[3]And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
[4]And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

    THE MYSTERY OF REDEMPTION

    1. Change in Family Lineage
    2. Transfer of ownership
    3. Change in Kingdom
    4. Rescue from Curse of law
    1. CHANGE IN FAMILY LINEAGE
      Romans 8:29
[29]For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

After we accepted the work of Christ via the blood, what happened in the Spirit realm was that we had the very gene of Jesus. We now have His blood running in us, whatever that is happening to the family we belonged to by blood is not permitted to happen to us again, because we are now in the family of Jesus. Generational curses, sickness, failure and whatnot are blood related, and if we cannot find it in Jesus, then we are not permitted to operate in it.

One of Jesus’ disciples told Jesus that His family members were calling Him and Jesus replied by saying that His actual family members are those that have been saved, i.e., they belong to the family of God (and family is a group of people that are blood related).

    Matthew 12:46-50
[46]While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
[47]Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
[48]But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
[49]And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
[50]For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

    1. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP
At the point of salvation, there is a divine exchange that happens. Jesus paid our ransom to the devil and rescued us from its coven, so we have no business with the devil again neither can it have any authority on us again.
Consider a rice seller, when he sells the rice to you, can he tell you what you are to use the rice to cook, whether it is in fried, jollof or white form? No… Because the rice doesn’t belong to the seller again. Before salvation, we belonged to the devil then he had final say over our lives. It (the devil) can determine to inflict you with sickness today and affliction tomorrow but we now belong to a good Father after salvation, this was possible through the payment of the Blood.
    2. CHANGE IN KINGDOM
    3. the Local Government Chairman of a territory speak any how to the National president? Did I hear you say No? Correct.
    4. The chairman dares not speak anyhow to the president, because the president has more authority than he does. Same thing for us as believers, we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places. We are both at the ‘presidency’ seat, no demon or devil that’s under us can dare afflict us with anything in their kingdom.

    Colossians 1:13
[13]Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

These are the mysteries of redemption…The knowledge of these will make you reign over the devil and his cohort.

  • KABOD

    KABOD

Welcome to Healing Nexus. Still on unlocking the healing prowess in us, today we are treating KABOD.

Kabod is a Hebrew word which means ‘Glory‘. The reason why our God is a jealous God is that He won’t and doesn’t even like to share His Glory with anyone. The reason why He created you in His image and likeness is because of His glory. God will stop functioning as God the moment He starts sharing His glory with any man. The reason why He detests the proud is because pride is a way of sharing out of God’s glory and humility is a way of returning the glory to Him.

    Revelation 4:11
[11]Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

The reason why He created you in His image and likeness is because of His glory

    James 4:6
[6]But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

    Daddy G. O.’s Encounter.
Pastor E. A. Adeboye (The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God) narrated his encounter with God. He said that God told him to use his finger to draw a man on the ground and after he did that, God told him to wipe it off again. Then He told him afterwards that that was how He would wipe him away anyday he starts sharing His glory with Him. That’s why you will see this man of God kneeling down for several hours as a sign of homage to God and that is why the miraculous flows at ease with him, he heals the sick without stress and this is because he doesn’t share in God’s Glory.

The reason why He detests the proud is because pride is a way of sharing out of God’s glory and humility is a way of returning the glory to Him.

LOOK ON US vs WHY LOOK ON US
Last week, we discussed Faith as a major tool of unlocking God’s ability in us and I opened our eyes to the words of Peter and John at the beautiful gate. See how Peter stated his word:

    Acts 3:4
[4]And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, LOOK ON US.

But Peter understands that allowing God to step in via faith is different from giving Him glory. The event after the healing of the man tells us that he was conscious of God’s glory. See this again:

    Acts 3:4,12
[4]And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
[12]And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or WHY LOOK SO EARNESTLY ON US, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

    MY EXPERIENCE
Whenever I want to minister healing, I do have this at the back of my mind, that I’m not the Healer; I’m just a channel. Even when I’m engrossed with compassion, I always tell myself that God is the Healer, I’m only ministering healing to that person to the glory of God. Most of the time when I minister healing via this revelation, I always see God work special healings. And I’ve always seen so many people crying for the healing anointing for their glory’s sake and that is why so many people do not enter into that reality.

God’s Glory is like a poison, it will kill you if you take it in.

    Malachi 2:2
[2]If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

God’s Glory is like a poison, it will kill you if you take it in.

Can you confess that “I’ll never take His glory, but rather, give Him His Glory” in the comment box?

  • THE BLOOD [The Ultimate Price for Redemption]

THE BLOOD [The Ultimate Price for Redemption]

    Ephesians 1:7
    [7]In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

To understand the nitty-gritty of the blood, you must first have a glimpse of what redemption is all about.

Redemption is a process of rescuing a captive from the hands of a captor through the payment of a ransom. This definition contains certain words which must be perfectly understood, they are:

    1. Captive: This is the person that was held bound. He is the one that did something wrong and was captured by the tormentor so as to be dealt with. In actual sense, this is talking about the human race.
    2. Captor: This is the party that is dealing with the captive. He is saddled with the responsibility of punishing the offender i.e., the human race and the captor is no other person than the devil.
    3. Redeemer: This is the person that comes to deliver the captive from the hand of his oppressor. He is the only Man that can give freedom to the oppressed via the payment of a certain amount of money called RANSOM.
    4. Ransom: This is a certain amount paid to free the captive from the hands of his oppressor.

The Redeemer is Jesus and the Ransom He paid was His BLOOD. The blood of Jesus is the payment that was made in the realm of the spirit to release us from the coven of darkness.

The blood of Jesus is the payment that was made in the realm of the spirit to release us from the coven of darkness.

Our God is a God of standard and His standard is ever true — that without the shedding of blood, sin can never be remitted. Adam put the whole world into sin and this sin would only be remitted by an exchange rate.

    Hebrews 9:22
[22]And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Blood is a spiritual medium of exchange, it allows transactions to be made in the realm of the spirit. When Man had this understanding, he began to seek for remission of his sins yearly by sacrificing the blood of goats, bulls, sheep, lambs etc. But the limitation of these was that it could not last for more than a year which implies that a goat’s blood can only pay a debt for a year in the realm of spirit, it’s blood is not everlasting for debt payment. Neither can man’s blood remit sins for long because even in man’s blood, there is sin.

    Hebrews 10:4
[4]For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Blood is a spiritual medium of exchange, it allows transactions to be made in the realm of the spirit.

But God in His mercies broke the law of nature by sending His only begotten Son to bring an undiluted blood into this world in order to remit the sins of the whole world.

HOW DID GOD BREAK THE LAW OF NATURE?
Science believes that a foetus carries the blood of his father in the mother. The mother doesn’t even give any percentage in the whole blood to the child. But we should ask ourselves, “then who mated with Mary to birth Jesus?” Nobody you say? Correct! The Bible makes us to understand that it was the Holy Spirit that came upon Mary, therefore the blood Jesus carries is not from this world. It is pure and it’s the only one that has the potency to pay all the debts once and for all.
    Luke 1:35
