    As a guide for you to use in receiving from your giving in any area, let me share this little formula. It has worked consistently for us and will work for you if you commit yourself to it.

    1. Decide on the amount you need.

    Be careful not to cheat yourself. God is not a skinflint. He is a giver. He is a lover. God is love. For God so loved the world that He gave. Determine the amount you need and then be single-minded. A double-minded man can’t receive anything form the Lord (see James 1:7-8).

    2. Get in agreement according to Matthew 18:19.

    This is very important. The best and most powerful situation on earth is a husband and wife who can agree together in these areas. If this isn’t possible in your particular case, then get together with another believer and have him join with you.

    3. Lay hold on it by faith.

    Use the principles set out in Mark 11:23-24. Believe it in your heart and confess it with your mouth.

    4. Bind the devil and his forces in the Name of Jesus.

    You have the authority in Jesus’ Name to order Satan out of your financial affairs. This is your responsibility. Don’t ask God to do it. You do it in Jesus’ Name. Mark 16:17, James 4:7, Ephesians 6 and the entire New Testament tells you to resist the devil. It is important for the husband and father to do this. It is his responsibility as spiritual head of the home.

    5. Loose the forces of heaven.

    Hebrews 1:14 refers to the angels as ministering spirits “sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation.” The Bible also says that angels hearken to the Word of God (see Psalm 103:20), so when you use the Word in the Name of Jesus, they are obligated to follow your command.

    6. Praise God for the answer.

    Praise keeps the door of abundance wide open. The channel between you and God is clear so that you can receive from Him.

    PRACTICAL

    Here is an example of prayer based on these six steps: “Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask you for $_______. We have this money in our heavenly account and we are withdrawing this amount now. We believe we receive $_______. As in Mark 11:23-24, we believe it in our hears and confess now that it is ours in the Name of Jesus. We agree that we have $______ according to Matthew 18:19. From this day forward, we roll the care of this over on You and thank You for it. Satan, in the Name of Jesus, we take authority over you; we bind your operation now and render you helpless. Ministering spirits, we charge you to go forth and cause this amount to come to us according to Hebrews 1:14. Father, we praise Your Name for meeting our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus and for multiplying our seed for sowing in the Name of Jesus.

    Today, I shall intimate my readers of the brief history of the Sons and Daughters of Zion [SADOZ].

    SADOZ started as a burden for discipleship and relationship. That is why we say SADOZ is a discipleship and relational movement where the Holy Spirit is our Discipler.

    There was a gap between a young man(The SADOZ PRESIDENT) and his disciples. The need to bridge this gap is the genesis of the ministry. There is also a burden to reach all men with the reality of having a communal relationship with the Holy Spirit and this culminated to reach out to more disciples.

    Also, is the dire need for the end time believers to have a balanced understanding of the Scriptures: rightly dividing the word of truth. In essence, SADOZ is set by God to raise disciples: to have a communion relationship with the Holy Ghost and rightly divide the word of truth.

    The Sons and Daughters of Zion has grew from seven members to thousands of members and we are trusting God to move into tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands and even millions in the years to come.

    WHAT TO DO WHILE WAITING

    1. DO NOT ACCEPT FATE

    Luke 1:18
    “And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.”

    Don’t be like Zacharia. He accepted the status quo and didn’t believe the angel when he told him the promise. You will do yourself more harm when you accept the situation as a fate while waiting. Similarly, Sarah did the same thing, but mercy spoke for them(Zechariah and Sarah respectively). Mercy will speak for you as well in Jesus name.

    2. Use CDA+
    Mark 11:24
    “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

    CDA+ is a household name for the Sons And Daughters Of Zion[SADOZ] which means Confess, Declare, Announce and + stands for imagine.
    CDA is speaking positively in spite of all all you’re passing through. And beyond speaking, start imagining it as well. Don’t just say it within, speak it out loud so that the world hear it. So, don’t feel pity about it and keep declaring your new status..

    3. Use your rod

    Exodus 14:14-16
    “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”

    This is your part to play,you’re to take steps of faith.
    You are making wedding plans and there’s no money in your account, God told you it’s time? Then take the step of faith.
    You’re waiting on God for your admission? Go and take the next form and write your exam, your rod as a student is to read for your exam. Your rod is peculiar to your situation. Yours is to go and study books, apply for courses and make researches..

    I pray for you that your time has come. The Lord open your eyes to see the steps to take and the rod to take in Jesus name.

    4. Be Praiseful

    Psalms 100:4
    “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
    It’s when you’re prideful that you have access to God and God will the step into your case.”

    5. Be Joyful

    Isaiah 12:3
    “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
    Joy is a drawer, it’s the tools needed to draw your redemption rights and without it you will just end up in frustration.”

    6. Listen to your prophet

    Isaiah 44:26
    “That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:”

    2 Chronicles 20:20
    ” And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

    Your prophet have the mandate to speak over your life to end all your trying times under God. When you listen to them, you gain directions.

    7. Obey prophetic instructions

    John 2:5
    ” His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”

    Whatever your Prophet tells you to do, do it!!!
    It is in that instruction that your deliverance lies. The instruction I’m giving here is to be patient and go over this again and examine your life where you’re missing it.

    Have you realized where you are getting it wrong? Can you just tell it to God to forgive you and receive the grace to do the needful. It’s well with you in Jesus name.

    1 Corinthians 10:13
    “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

    The less informed you are, about trying times, the more you have chances of loosing what God has in stock for you. And for you to exit trying times, you have to know the following:

    1. IT IS NOT UNCOMMON TO MAN

    1 Corinthians 10:13
    “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is COMMON TO MAN: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

    You must firstly have the understanding that trial is common to every man be it believer or unbeliever, anointed or unanointed alike.
    You’re not the only one passing through that particular trial. There is a Yoruba adages which says: ‘ saying this situation has never occurred in life is just a means of scaring the victim’.
    So, this is to justify the fact that, what you’re passing through is not a new trial. There are 10001 people that have passed through this same trial you’re passing through, and they all fall into 2 categories; some failed while some succeeded. Those who failed, didn’t do anything about it, while those who succeeded, are those who did something about it. They never quitted!!!
    You are the determinant of the success of your trial. The truth is that, it had happened to some people and they testified afterwards.
    Hebrews 6:12
    “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

    2. IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE BEYOND YOU

    1 Corinthians 10:13
    “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted ABOVE THAT YE ARE ABLE; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

    The trial you’re passing through, is not meant to be beyond you. The moment it is beyond you and you don’t know what to do again, it’s a signal that something is wrong. When an individual is involved in an accident, and the concerned part of the body is being stitched by the doctor, it’s expected that when the operation is going on, it shouldn’t be painful, and once it gets painful, it means something is wrong. That moment when the trial is overwhelming you, is a pointer to the fact that you’re not doing what you are supposed to do. And that is what we shall be dealing with in this series.

    3. IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE FOREVER

    1 Corinthians 10:13
    “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a WAY OF ESCAPE, that ye may be able to bear it..”

    The trial you are passing through, is not meant to be forever, so don’t lose hope. It will be wrong to accept it as a fate either. Don’t see the devil in it even if it is the devil that brought you into it. Start seeing God who will bring you out of it. And also, if it’s as a result of your past sin, lean on the cleaning power of the blood of Jesus. Do not allow the devil to pin you down with guilt.
    God is ready to bring you out of that trial, Yes! He has provided a way of escape for you if you would be ready to accept Him into your trials.

    4. IT’S ONLY MEANT FOR A WHILE

    1 Peter 5:10
    “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

    Isaiah 32:10(NLT).
    “In a short time—just a little more than a year, you careless ones will suddenly begin to care. For your fruit crops will fail, and the harvest will never take place.”

    The trial is only for a while, and it is not meant to be too long. It is not meant to be forever. the definition of ‘a while’ by God is a little more than a year, and once it’s more than a year, it’s becoming something else.
    And if I may ask; do you know what is making it longer than the time it should be? It shall be discussed in the next part!!!

    Now, check yourself, has the trial been taking a very long while in your life? I decree that your set time has come in the name of Jesus.

    You will testify today!!! You will testify this week!!!

    You will testify this month!!!

    It will not be more than this month in the name of Jesus..

    WHAT LENGTHENS TRYING TIME?

    James 1:3-4
    “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

    Romans 5:3-4
    “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:”

    Hebrews 6:12
    “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

    For every trying time, there is a reason for it and the reason is to work out patience, and until patience does it work perfectly, you may not be out of that time. Until you understand what patience is, that trying time may not go, and the purpose of patience is to work out experience of victory.

    What is patience?

    1. It is the gap between the time you pray and the time the prayer gets answered.

    2. It is not waiting with the mindset of ‘what will be will be’.

    3. It is not waiting on top of the issue and worrying, but waiting on top of it without worry.

    4. It is when that issue is no more your everyday prayer point.

    5. It is first a state of mind than an action.

    6. It is to be still in hope and strong in faith.

    7. It is to be unmoved and unbothered despite the trials.

    HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE OUT OF PATIENCE?

    1. When you remind yourself and God about the situation always.

    Genesis 15:1-2
    “After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?”

    Genesis 17:1
    ” And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.”

    Abram kept on reminding God about his situation anytime He had an encounter with God. Even after God had made the covenant with him, he was impatient. In verse 16, he went further to commit sin by having a sexual affair with his house maid. But in verse 17, God told him to be patient, and until he achieved this, his name was not changed and he couldn’t lay hold on the promise of God for his life.

    2. When the burden is always on your heart.
    Appearing before God always, with the burden in your heart is lack of trust in God. It implies that you are telling God that though you’ve told Him about it, but you’re not sure He will be able to handle it well. Keep off the burden in your heart and move on. God is able and capable of handling the situation, you just trust in him.

    EFFECTS OF IMPATIENCE

    1. You will be unstable

    Psalms 92:13
    “Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.”

    You will be tossed to and fro, you won’t be able to be rooted in the God ordained Zion for your life.

    2. You wander away from your God-ordained prophet.

    3. You prolong your waiting time
    James 1:4,7-8
    ” But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and” entire, wanting nothing.
    “For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

    4. You will desperately make wrong decision

    5. Murmuring
    Numbers 14:27
    “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.”

    Those that murmur use to die because God always hears murmuring and He hates it a lot.

    I decree upon your life that the spirit of impatience die today in the name of Jesus. In the next part (Part4), I shall be telling you what to do while waiting.

    When the little sheep was lost
    The shepherd went all out in search
    When the son left home
    The father waited for him to return

    The sheep was lost but the son left
    The shepherd searched but the father waited
    The father nurses his wound day n night
    Until the son returns

    It’s no small pain in a father’s heart
    That a son or daughter nursed to maturity neglected him
    The father prays:
    wherever you go whatever you do
    Remain a believer
    And quickly come to your senses.

    The father would come for me he said
    But no one rescues an unbroken fish
    The prodigal son soon exhausted all revelations
    He used up all rhema received in training
    His gifts became dull and has no one to bless but pigs

    He was thirsty but given mud
    He was hungry but fed with poison
    Who else has the word of life but father.
    Who else cares truly like father
    Where else is home like ZION
    He made an haste, returned to his senses and returned home.

    Not too old to be a slave he said
    Not too old to start all over he said
    Not too offensive to be forgiven
    But what love and joy awaits his homecoming.

    I’m a lawyer in my country…

    He called

    In my poverty, I’m called to make others rich
    In my sickness, I’m asked to heal
    In my mourning, I’m demanded to give comfort
    And in all, I’m not permitted to show my inner pains

    I had my will, I had my passion
    I had my skills, I had my plans
    Tarshish I wanted, Nineveh I am
    Lecturing I loved but here preaching
    Lab coat I desired but here in cassock
    Seed, I wanted to give but here, raising one.

    Don’t give me pity but empathy
    I’m not a beggar
    Don’t give me sympathy but understanding
    I’m not complaining
    Don’t toss crumbs to me from your tables
    I am not the poor Lazarus
    Don’t troll me for my Abrahamic blessings,
    I’m not a politician you elected

    I’m here only to help you
    I die daily saving you
    Poured out as a drink offering
    Fufiling all in the volume of the book written of me.

    Digest my doctrines,
    Grow in understanding
    Live holy and make it to heaven
    That my joy may be full.

    Dear Ayanfe,

    My child, I didn’t tell you
    Life is not always pleasant
    It gives you a road with bumps
    It serves you beans with stones
    Life dresses you with heavy garment

    My child, I didn’t tell you
    Life will be pleasant if you master the present.
    Several have traveled this road inspite the bumps
    You too can make it to destination
    The garment won’t be too heavy if you wait for your time.
    Pick the stones and cook your beans

    My child, I didn’t tell you
    If you are wrong and I beat, I’m not wicked
    If you are hurt, my painful balm is meant to heal
    If you fail, I may scream but my love is undiluted
    I never meant it when I say I would disown you.

    My child, I didn’t tell you
    I will not always be here
    It could be short or long
    I may be good or bad
    But you have your own life to live

    My child, I didnt tell you
    No challenge of life is new
    No situation is permanent
    History were once the present
    With time this will also pass and fade

    My child, I didn’t tell you
    If you fall, it’s because you are moving
    If you fall, fall forward
    If you fall, rise again
    Because only you can stop you.

    My child, don’t do suicide,
    It is not a cure but a curse
    Find a reason to live and live for it
    The end of the end is fire or peace
    The giver of life would judge if you kill it

    My son, I didn’t tell you
    Make good friends and confidants
    If one fail, make another
    You are imperfect yourself
    Always talk, say it out, scream it loud
    Depression can kill one not two

    My child, serve your Creator
    That is the first destiny of man
    And He is the best reason to live for
    Don’t be mad at Him, He is always right
    Right to help, if you seek Him

    My child, remember your parents
    They suffered to raise you
    There is atleast one person that love you
    They will sorrow if you go
    You have another chance if you choose to live

    I rebuke from you depression
    I rebuke from you death thought
    You will live the fullness of your days
    And fulfil your dreams
    My child, don’t do suicide
