    THE ACTS OF GOD

    Our God is a Good God, what’s He does is always good not evil. If it is good, then it is God; and if it is evil, it is from the devil. The scripture even says every good and perfect gift is from the Lord (James1:17) and that all that the Lord made was good.

    However there are some Bible verses that portray God as the perpetrator of evil, and I’ve seen so many people building on these verses to justify their saying that God allows evil to happen to people so as to teach them some lessons or to punish them of their sins.

    Some of those passages are:

    Isaiah 45:7
    [7]I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

    Lamentations 3:38
    [38]Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

    2 Kings 15:5
    [5]And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

    There are some points you should note while dealing with these verses:

    1. These verses and others were always drawn from the Old Testament.

    2. The whole Bible was divided into 3 main dispensations:
    I. The dispensation of Faith,
    II. The dispensation of Law,
    III. The dispensation of Grace.

    3. All the scenarios mentioned were picked out from the dispensation of law and law states that if you do this, this is what will happen to you (Check Deuteronomy 27: 15-26 for the statements of law and 28:15-68 for the curses of law).

    4. There was a “curse” placed on everyone who violated the law on earth during that dispensation, irrespective of whom they might be (Israelite or non- Israelite).

    5. Whenever the law was violated by the Israelites, God would remove His shield on them and the devil would have access to treat them with evil.

    6. Jesus came to put an end to the dispensation of law and brought the dispensation of Grace.
    Galatians 3:13
    [13]Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

    7. But there are some people that fall sick after they commit a sin? Yes, they fall sick because they gave a legal ground to the devil by feeling guilt, condemnation, worry etc.

    8. If you commit a sin as a believer, your sin is not thicker than the blood of Jesus.
    1 John 2:1-2
    [1]My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
    [2]And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

    1 Timothy 6:12
    [12]Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

    There are certain wars which you have to be prepared for if you want to start living a sickness-free life. It’s called the good fight of faith. So, it’s best that I get your mind prepared so that it won’t be strange to you.

    • AGAINST HUMAN TRADITION
      Mark 7:8-9
      [8]For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
      [9]And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

    We have the reality of the word of God and we have the tradition of men:
    Human tradition: Whenever you are sick, you can be prayed for and you must also use drugs to heal yourself.

    God’s word: Whenever you’re sick, have faith, pray and be healed (Drug is not in the equation).

    Human tradition: it’s not possible for you just be living without falling sick.

    God’s word: Jesus has healed all our sicknesses so we are entitled to a sickness-free life.

    You can see the conflict between the two schools of thought. If you are in the first school of thought and you want to metamorphose into the second school of thought, you should actually be ready to face so many persecutions or challenges from the people that are in the first school of thought.

    I remember when I started practicing Divine Healing, I was feeling some symptoms and I told someone very close to me and he advised me to go and use drugs. I told him I’m using CDA capsule already (Confess,Declare, Announce) and he shouted at me asking if I had joined “them”, If I was also proving “Holier than thou”, and all sort of insulting words. But I told him to keep calm that I would be fine. Last time, I told him that it had been over 5 years now and I had not fallen sick at all. He was shocked and just replied, “okay”.

    At another time, some friends who see my Healing Nexus articles on Facebook and instead of learning from it, they began to criticize me that I taught that using drug is a sin. But I’ve never done that. It was when we met physically that I even got to know that they’d been having some meetings behind my back all because I’m teaching what I was instructed by God to do. I keep telling them that, “The fact that motor cars have accidents doesn’t mean that we won’t travel with it again”. Also the fact that the teaching of Divine Healing suffers persecution by people doesn’t mean that we won’t teach it again.

    Wisdom Nugget

    Peter was sent to the Jews and Paul was sent to the Gentiles, Peter et al will always wage war against Paul for the enlightement of the Gentiles right he’s giving to them. So, when I see people like that, I’m not always moved, I need them because for every Jesus’ ministry there must be a scribe, Pharisees and Sadducees that will always antagonize Him.

    You’re the one I have a busines with. Are you ready to be living this reality? Then prepare for the war. Jesus even promised us persecution in this journey because we really need it (John 16:33).

    Can you confess that, “I WILL STAND TALL AT THE FACE OF MY WAR”?

  • WHO MADE JOB SICK?

    WHO MADE JOB SICK?

    There’s a popular question in the mind of all Bible believers and the question is WHO MADE JOB SICK? God or Devil?

    Let me inform you that God was not the one who afflicted Job with sickness! Here is how it went:

    A. Devil made Job sick,
    B. Job permitted it,
    C. God healed him.

    Here are the biblical references:
    DEVIL MADE JOB SICK
    Job 2:7 – “So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown”.

    JOB ALLOWED IT BY NEGATIVE THOUGHT/FEAR
    Job 3:25 – “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”

    GOD HEALED HIM
    Job 42:10 – “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before”.

    Now let me ask you this: If you are a father and your son offends you, can you use a blade used by a HIV positive patient to cut him? I know your answer is NO! Also, GOD is saying He will not make you sick!

    Can you type this: GOD WON’T CAUSE ME TO FALL SICK.

  • TIMOTHY, TROPHILOS AND EPAPHRODITUS

    TIMOTHY, TROPHILOS AND EPAPHRODITUS

    The fact that motor cars have accidents does not mean that we won’t learn how to drive again and that does not also mean that whenever we want to go on a long journey we must go on foot so as to avoid accidents. Also, because the concept of Healing is a subject that many people don’t want to listen to does not mean that we shouldn’t teach it or know about it again.

    At a time, I was teaching about Divine healing and health and someone confronted me that it’s not real and he provided some Biblical proofs for me and the proofs were on the case study of Timothy, Trophimus and Epaphroditus.

    Let’s check what was written about them:

    1 Timothy 5:23
    [23]Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.

    From this passage you can see that Timothy as dear as he was to Paul, he was having some infirmities and it was obvious that he usually fell sick.

    2 Timothy 4:20
    [20]Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
    This is another dear son of Timothy named TROPHIMUS, we can see that he was left at Miletum not to followed Paul on his journey because of his health issue and he was also a Christian.

    Philippians 2:25-27
    [25]Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
    [26]For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.
    [27]For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

    Here’s Uncle Epaphroditus too, a dear companion of Paul. He was even restricted from embarking on a mission trip because he was in “coma”.

    It’s possible that you too might have come across these passages and be doubting Divine health but may I tell you that that thought is whispered to you by the devil? Infact, that little whisper is the reason why some do not walk in the reality of Divine Health.

    The Demystification

    Now, to demystify that myth, take note of the following:

    1. Hebrews 12:2
      [2]Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

    The Bible says that we should keep our gaze on Jesus because He’s our perfect example (Check my post on JESUS WAS SICK) not Timothy, Trophilos or Epaphroditus not even Paul. Jesus is the only one that portrays our salvation. If we can get a point to support Jesus’ illnesses then sickness is our right but if not, Divine health is our reality.

    1. You should understand the fact that anointing may not work for grown up believers at some time but faith can always work for them ( I’ll be starting a series on this note very soon: Faith vs Anointing).
      Acts 19:12
      [12]So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

    Paul was the spiritual father of the three personalities we are looking at and we can see that God had been operating powerfully in the miraculous and healing of the sick through him but the reason why they couldn’t get healed was that they didn’t have faith for Divine healing but they believed in the operational power of the Anointing to heal. It may even be that they too had ministered healing through the anointing themselves because they were evangelists (and the gifts of healing do accompany the ministerial office of an evangelist) but they did not work on their faith.

    So, here’s my admonition to you:

    Hebrews 6:12
    [12]That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

    Be a follower of Jesus and those who inherited the promise of Divine Health through Faith and patience. If you have once battled with sickness divinely at a time or the other, you would realize that it takes patience to come out of it and also remember that the just shall live by by his faith not his father’s faith.

    THE TREE OF LIFE [Part II]

    Yeaaaaaa! We are still on the part of The Tree of Life. Let’s start from where I stopped last week. We analyzed the elements of the Tree of Life which are:

    1. The Vine – Jesus.
    2. The Branches – The Believers.
    3. Fruit – The fruit of the Spirit in believers.
    4. Leaves – Healing of the nations.

    Revelation 22:2
    [2]In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

    The word “nations” stated in the passage is from the Greek word “ethnos” which means “non-Jewish” and the non-Jewish are the “unbelievers”. So, the implication of this is that God is not expecting the branches to be sick but rather that they should be a channel of healing to the unbelievers (Mark 16:17). But peradventure they fall sick, they can get their healing from the source which is the Vine.
    WATER AND TREE:
    There is a popular saying that “water is life” and this saying is absolutely true to the growth and existence of a tree. When you see a tree void of leaves, it is a sign that the tree is dying. Let’s go back to the garden of Eden.

    Genesis 2:10
    [10]And a RIVER went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

    Can you see that the life of the trees in the Garden is dependent on the river that is flowing from Eden (Presence of God)? The book of Revelation also attests to this fact;

    Revelation 22:1
    [1]And he shewed me a pure RIVER OF WATER of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God[Eden] and of the Lamb[Jesus].

    The water flowed from God the Father alone in Genesis but from both God the Father and Jesus in Revelation.

    DAVID ON THIS NOTE:
    Psalms 1:3
    [3]And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever h thiseth shall prosper.

    David was describing a man with a blessed health in this passage and he related his secret to the leaf of the tree of life which is meant for the healing of nations. But this man was not detached from the river that supplies it with water and that’s why the leaf didn’t wither.

    God the Father (Vine Dresser) and Jesus (The Vine) are the water of the tree of life and the branches are saddled with the responsibility of tapping water from the vine so that they can remain connected and produce fruit and leaves the more.

    THE TAPPING(POWER OF TONGUE):
    Let’s look at how to tap from the water so that we can abide and bear more leaves as a branch:

    Proverbs 15:4
    [4]A wholesome TONGUE is a TREE OF LIFE: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

     

    Proverbs 18:21
    [21]Death and LIFE are in the power of the TONGUE: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

    The two passages quoted above solidify the fact that responsibility has been placed on us if we are indeed going to experience divine healing or divine health and this responsibility is laid on our mouth.

    We must be able to always speak out our reality as a knowledgable Christian. A speaking believer will always live the reality of a fortified health. When you’re tenacious about speaking, you’ll always unlock the superatural.

    I knew the power of speaking when I was practicing divine healing, anytime I felt sick. Instead of sleeping, I’ll rather be speaking. Until you speak forth, your healing will not come forth. Take this as a responsibility as from today to always speak forth your divine healing and health reality henceforth.

    TREE OF LIFE [I]

    Welcome to Healing Nexus.

    When you see this topic, it’s the first thing that will likely come to your mind is the precious tree that was planted inside the Garden of Eden.

    Don’t forget that there were 2 trees inside the Garden of Eden namely “Tree of Life” and “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil”. These two trees represent the way we live our lives as Christians.

    The Tree of Life represents our relationship with God and dependency on Him while the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil signifies the “human ability” to know right and wrong (I’m sure you still remember the incidence that occurred after the fall of Adam).

    The Tree of Life also requires humans to live by their spirit while the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil requires that men should live by their soul.

    After the fall of man, God had to chase Adam away from Eden so that He won’t touch the heart of Eden which is the Tree of Life. Remember also that before the fall of Adam and Eve, both of them were naked and they did not react to any atmospheric condition of the garden, even the Scriptures made us to know that there were four great rivers inside Eden but they never for once complained of either cold or chilled weather. They enjoyed these benefits because they were guided by the spirit (tree of life) but immediately they resolved to being led by their soul, God had to send them away from enjoying the benefit of the Tree of Life. Don’t forget that I mentioned earlier that the heart of the garden is the tree of life.

    Genesis 3:24
    [24]So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the TREE OF LIFE.
    You can see from the above verse that the heart of the garden is “the tree of Life”.

    Now that Man had been chased away from Eden, the question we should ask is: where is the Tree of Life?

    Revelation 22:1-2
    [1]And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
    [2]In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

    From the above passage, we can see that the tree is in heaven and here is the good news, we, believers, are citizens of the heaven! Shout GLORY!!!
    Philippians 3:20 – But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.

    Here’s another good news; we carry Jesus inside of us and Jesus said He is the tree of Life.

    John 15:5
    [5]I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

    Let me do some analysis for you.

    What comprises a tree are:

    1. Vine
    2. Branches
    3. Fruits
    4. Leaves

    Jesus said I am the Vine, we are the branches, it’s the branches that bear fruits (fruits of the Spirit) but what’s the work of the leaves?

    Revelation 22:2
    [2]In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the HEALING of the nations (ethnos: nonJewish-Pagans).

    So, the implication of this is that we were made to be a solution to the unbelievers’ sickness. The leaves that sprout out from our bond with the vine is not meant for us because we don’t. need it. That’s why Jesus said, “we shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover”.

    This knowledge alone is sufficient for you to enter the realm of Divine Health. What are you going to do with this knowledge? You have to confess that I AM FOR THE HEALING OF THE NATIONS, SICKNESS IS NOT MY PORTION! ( Can you demonstrate this at the comment box).

  • POWER OF THE BROKEN BODY

    POWER OF THE BROKEN BODY

    Welcome to Healing Nexus



    Today we are considering the role of communion in our healing and health. I grew up in a setting where we were taught that if you must partake in the communion, you must be a total saint; give your life to Christ, must have done water baptism. Well, I’m not saying that the belief is wrong but it chases people away from taking the communion whenever we take it.

    What is the composition of the Communion?
    Luke 22:19-20
    [19]And he took BREAD, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my BODY which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
    [20]Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This CUP is the new testament in my BLOOD, which is SHED FOR YOU.

    Communion wine


    According to this passage, we can see that the constituents are:

    1. Bread which signifies the Body of Jesus.
    2. Cup (wine) which means Jesus’ blood.

    Now, let’s start with the latter. What’s the work of the wine? The wine means “new covenant to save”; so, if the blood of Jesus is meant to wash away our sin, then it’s the even “sinner” that needs to take it most with understanding, so we don’t need to send them away.

    Now, what about the bread? It stands for the body of Jesus. One of the major works of the bread is the work of healing. Let’s check Paul’s speech to the Corinthians;
    1 Corinthians 11:29-30
    [29]For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
    [30]For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

    For you to understand this verse very well, firstly read verse 30 and ask yourself that for what cause?, The cause is then the last statement in verse 29, NOT DISCERNING THE LORD’S BODY.
    It’s because they do not discern this body that makes them to be weak, sick and even dead.

    You may want to ask what’s the correlation is between the Lord’s body and healing, then let’s go to Isaiah’s prophecy:

    Isaiah 53:5
    [5]But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his STRIPES we are HEALED.

    You can see STRIPE and HEALING going together here; when JESUS was striped, He was striped in His Body, so the body tore first before the blood gushed out.

    The implication of this is that God first settled sickness even before dealing with sin. And you’ll agree with me now that it’s not the blood that heals but the body, the blood rather forgives.

    Reply by saying; The blood forgives and the body heals.

    ACTION POINT:

    ✔️Get any liquid substance close to represent the blood of Jesus and get any solid substance to represent the body of Jesus.

    ✔️Pray on it.

    ✔️Turn it to the bread and the blood via prayer.

    ✔️Take it with the revelation you received today and access your healing.
