  • BULLETPROOF CAR – Pst. Ife Adetona

BULLETPROOF CAR – Pst. Ife Adetona

I thank God for saving the life of his servant with his family, Apostle Suleiman. Condolences for the loss of his aides. May God replenish the loss of the bereaved family. May God also grant the apostle and his family quick healing from the trauma.

Talking about the bulletproof car which has since become a centre of debate. I have seen people as usual say all sorts such as “it wasn’t anointing oil that saved him, it was bulletproof”. That’s like saying: “it wasn’t God that saved him but the car”. If thieves attempted breaking into their father’s house and after several attempts, even when the door was almost giving in, they were overpowered, those naysayers will go to church and say: “it wasn’t God that secured our parents, it was the iron door”.

The law of Divine Security says: “do your best and leave the rest”. Do your best, leave the rest for God but be at peace.
While I live in a house with a gate, I shut the gates at night, God keeps me.
When I was living in a gateless house, I shut the door to my room and God kept me.
When I was living in a house without a gate and without door, I drew my curtain at night and slept peaceably because the Lord was watching over me.

There’s a place for wisdom, there is a place of divine security.
Except the Lord keeps the city, the watchmen keep vigil in vain but note: there were still watchmen keeping vigils.

  • UNDERSTANDING RHEMA AND LOGOS

    UNDERSTANDING RHEMA AND LOGOS

When I was on campus, I used to hear people shouting RHEMA whenever a man of God said something deep from the word of God. But in no time I emulated this culture of shouting RHEMA whenever I want to appraise a man of God’s teachings even without knowing the meaning, but as time went by, I got to know that rhema is a Greek word that means the word of God. I will be opening your eyes to the full understanding of this word in the lines of this book.

Let’s go a bit theological, the word Rhema is a Greek word, spelled as ῥῆμα, transliterated as rhēma and pronounced as “rhray’-mah”. The word Rhema is found seventy (70) times in the New Testament. I will be bringing five of it to your attention for in-depth study before I tell you the definition of the word Rhema.

A second time the rooster crowed. Then Peter called to mind the word (rhema) that Jesus had said to him, Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times. And when he thought about it, he wept.

    Mark 14:72

While Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word (rhema) of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

    Luke 3:2

Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in Me? The words (rhema) that I speak to you I do not speak on My authority, but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

    John 14:10

Who will tell you words (rhema) by which you and all your household will be saved.

    Acts 11:14

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words (rhema) that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

    John 6:63

From the above bible passages above, you are going to see that the word of God used in this context is spoken or written specifically, they are the words God speaks out not to everyone, but to an individual. Yes! The word God has spoken to you is your own Rhema, it is meant for your dealings. They are the words the Lord has revealed to you, they’re the raw materials for your desired wonders, they serve as lamps to your feet and light to your path. They are the words that were sorted for whenever one is about to take crucial steps. Now, note this, every Rhema must be rooted in the logos which shall be explained next.

    2.LOGOS

To explain logos to you, I will like us to go theological as well. Logos is a Greek word, spelled as λόγος, transliterated as logos and pronounced as log’-os. The word Logos appears three hundred and thirty-one times (331) in the New Testament, but let me give you just five (5) instances of where it was used to explain what it is to you.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings (logos) of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

    Matthew 7:24

The sower sows the word (logos).

    Mark 4:14

So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word (logos) of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret.

    Luke 5: 1

That the saying (logos) of Jesus might be fulfilled which He spoke, signifying by what death He would die.

    John 18:32

Then the word (logos) of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.

    Acts 6:7

Critically, look at the contextual use of “word,” you will see that it was spoken or written generally to people, it was not meant for a particular person.

    HOW DO THEY RELATE?

Logos can be likened to a well, while Rhema can be likened to your bucket, it is the bucket that draws from the well. This means that all Rhema are drawn from the Logos, any Rhema that is not having the background of the logos should be discarded and disregarded.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    2 Timothy 2:15

Paul was admonishing Timothy as I want to admonish you. He said Timothy should study the Logos because it is how studious he is in logos that God is going to examine, that will make God approve a Rhema word for him and remember, that the Rhema word is the raw materials for any wonders you desire.

  • QUICK FACT ON HOLY COMMUNION – Pst. Ife Adetona

QUICK FACT ON HOLY COMMUNION – Pst. Ife Adetona

Do you know you can serve Holy Communion to yourself or to your family as the priest that you are?

Smith Wigglesworth revealed that the secret to his long life and sound health is taking communion every day at their dining table.

Do you think Jesus ordered a different or special food for communion? No. He took a part out of their supper (Passover meal) and separated that portion as communion. You can separate a portion of your meal and do the same.

Mathew 26:26 As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “

The problem is that we limit communion to “remembrance”. What if we see it as a healing substance or the life of Christ in a man? A lot of people got their healing via communion in our meetings. Many received sound health and some others got strength over addictions.

  • THEY THOUGHT WE WERE LYING – Pst.Ife Adetona

THEY THOUGHT WE WERE LYING – Pst.Ife Adetona

Many ignorantly think positive confession in the name of faith is like telling lies or deceiving oneself.

May we open our hearts to learning in Jesus Name.

Faith is never negative but always positive thus positive confession aligns every time with faith. There is a problem if the person making the positive confession is talking from the point of ignorance of the Scriptures.

Yet, it is better to speak positively out of ignorance than to speak negatively out of unbelief.

God said let the weak say “I am strong”. Not because his body is strong but he considers not his own body and staggered not out of unbelief but steadfast in faith calling things that were not as though they were.

Jesus said LAZARUS is not dead. Was He lying? He said Lazarus is not dead so he would be undead. If you say Lazarus is dead because you want to speak the reality, he will remain dead. Which one do you prefer? A dead or an undead Lazarus? Say what you want to see (FULL STOP). The point is that your reality is not of this world or of your physical environment.

So, when you say I AM RICH.
When you say I AM STRONG
When you say I AM FULL
Or you say I AM PREGNANT

When in the natural sense, it is the opposite, the Bible says, you will have whatever you saith and it is unto you according to your faith.

Again, I would prefer an ignorant believer who confesses positively all the time to a self acclaimed old believer who confesses negatively.

The Bible says: “anything that is not of faith is sin”. Aigba gbo bi la (Disbelief, I cast you out).

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick.

  • Let’s talk about HAIRCUTS & DRESSING

Let’s talk about HAIRCUTS & DRESSING

    Our View on Dressing.

Many people have asked, why does MotherTreasure dress the way she dresses. People haven’t asked me why I cut my hair the way I do but I have been asked if having a different haircut is wrong.

We believe in what is called the law of RIPPLE DOWN EFFECT and this is why we will continue to dress the way we dress and pass it down to followers who choose to without in any way discriminating against those who do not.

Firstly, let me say that YOUR HAIRCUT WILL NOT TAKE YOU TO HELL. Likewise will your choice of DRESSING take you to hell as far as you didn’t intend to be lustful or seductive because God knows the intent of the heart? Where the problem lies is that your choice of dressing and haircut can lead you into what can lead you to hell. This is where the law of ripple down effect comes in. I will explain shortly.

Your haircut and dressing have a lot to do with your ASSOCIATION and your association contributes to your lifestyle. Psychologists agree with this. They even believe that the kind of car you use is related to your character & lifestyle. And so there are characters, lifestyles and influences that are peculiar to a style of dressing.

If a boy with a certain haircut enters a campus as a fresher and needs description to a certain point in the school, he is likely to ask another boy with a similar haircut. If there are four boys in a hostel, the ones with a similar haircut are likely to get along quickly. In a space of time, boys and girls who were freshers would quickly make friends with those who dress just the way they do. Note: there are exceptions.

To these dressings come vices. How do I mean? Certain characters come with the way you dress. If you see “five SU dressed” gather, you can comfortably say that there will be a vice of gossip among them (for example). And where “non-SU dressed gathers”, you can tell the kind of vices among them.

I was travelling in the North at a time. Soldiers did stop and search. I didn’t dress like a Pastor but I was the only male they did not search. I have had such encounters a couple of times. There was a time Police searched only one boy and drugs were found on him. How they singled him out, I don’t know but it tells a lot about how he appeared. The appearance will always show the manner.

If dressing has a lot to do with association and association has to do with lifestyle and lifestyle has a lot to do with godliness & ungodliness then, we ministers have a role to play. That is what the ripple down effect means.

In my few years of pilgrimage, I have seen a lot of believers descend morally via this route. We thought the only thing that changed about them was the hair and look but it wasn’t long before we discovered that their new association plunged their lifestyle and morals as well. I know a boy who never disobeyed his parents until he changed his haircut. I have also seen newly born again ascend by first changing the way they dress. They were able to cut out their old friends and lifestyle more easily after changing their dress style.

However, this thing is not automatic. That a brother or sister chooses to appear in a way doesn’t mean he would automatically get along with the influence that follows but they are surely more at risk. And as ministers, we believe we are examples, aren’t we? We have the babies to secure, we have the carnal believers to help and those that think they stand also need to take heed. We are examples unto them all. If we raise the standard, they can come higher, if we lower it, they will go lower. The ripple down effect of our choice goes beyond our disciples or followers in Christ but even down to our biological children.

I don’t think I want to say more than this. I preached a more elaborate message on this on our Telegram Channel titled: Christian Dressense.

1Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity, “IN DRESSING”.

    Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

  • PRAYING FOR MONEY

    PRAYING FOR MONEY

    PRAYING FOR MONEY
Kenneth Copeland in “Laws of Prosperity

As a guide for you to use in receiving from your giving in any area, let me share this little formula. It has worked consistently for us and will work for you if you commit yourself to it.

    1. Decide on the amount you need.

Be careful not to cheat yourself. God is not a skinflint. He is a giver. He is a lover. God is love. For God so loved the world that He gave. Determine the amount you need and then be single-minded. A double-minded man can’t receive anything form the Lord (see James 1:7-8).

    2. Get in agreement according to Matthew 18:19.

This is very important. The best and most powerful situation on earth is a husband and wife who can agree together in these areas. If this isn’t possible in your particular case, then get together with another believer and have him join with you.

    3. Lay hold on it by faith.

Use the principles set out in Mark 11:23-24. Believe it in your heart and confess it with your mouth.

    4. Bind the devil and his forces in the Name of Jesus.

You have the authority in Jesus’ Name to order Satan out of your financial affairs. This is your responsibility. Don’t ask God to do it. You do it in Jesus’ Name. Mark 16:17, James 4:7, Ephesians 6 and the entire New Testament tells you to resist the devil. It is important for the husband and father to do this. It is his responsibility as spiritual head of the home.

    5. Loose the forces of heaven.

Hebrews 1:14 refers to the angels as ministering spirits “sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation.” The Bible also says that angels hearken to the Word of God (see Psalm 103:20), so when you use the Word in the Name of Jesus, they are obligated to follow your command.

    6. Praise God for the answer.

Praise keeps the door of abundance wide open. The channel between you and God is clear so that you can receive from Him.

    PRACTICAL

Here is an example of prayer based on these six steps: “Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask you for $_______. We have this money in our heavenly account and we are withdrawing this amount now. We believe we receive $_______. As in Mark 11:23-24, we believe it in our hears and confess now that it is ours in the Name of Jesus. We agree that we have $______ according to Matthew 18:19. From this day forward, we roll the care of this over on You and thank You for it. Satan, in the Name of Jesus, we take authority over you; we bind your operation now and render you helpless. Ministering spirits, we charge you to go forth and cause this amount to come to us according to Hebrews 1:14. Father, we praise Your Name for meeting our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus and for multiplying our seed for sowing in the Name of Jesus.

  • CAT ON MY WALL – Pst. Ife Adetona

CAT ON MY WALL – Pst. Ife Adetona

My wife and I were relaxing in the visitors’ room one certain evening when we saw a cat walking majestically on the fence. My wife was the first to see it. I looked up and smiled. I said in my heart- “what a cute animal”. We looked away from it and continued with our gist.

Night after night, we hear the sounds of the cat fighting some animals behind our window. On a certain night, my wife said she was sure that the cat was fighting with a shrew (eku asin). A shrew is a rat-like animal with a long mouth and poisonous bite. Oh, God! How I hate that thing. I have seen it a couple of times walked in and out of our house through the kitchen door. I wanted to kill it already. Alas! God sent the cat to kill the mice because after that bout we didn’t see it again.

Thank God I didn’t cast and bind the angelic cat.

Yes, witches can possess cats as well as some other animals. But we have exaggerated it in Africa. In 99.9% of cases, witches don’t turn into cats, they can only transproject (I’m not sure if that is the right word) through it. That is, they may be in their room but see everything you are doing through the eyes of the cat. If you look at the cat eyeball to eyeball, especially if it is your own, you can cast out the demon making the connection. You also seal your house or yourself from being spied upon with the blood of Jesus if you suspect such activity around you.

It is not only through animals that witchcraft can spy on you. They can do it through writings on the walls too. I was in the room of one of my sons. Guess what I saw on the wall- an occultic graffiti. I don’t know who lived in that room before or why but there was an occultic eye in the room. Innocent boy, he moved into the room without repainting or closing the eyes. I asked him if he knew its meaning, and he said no. I smiled and told him to enjoy his sleep. Though ignorant, I knew they can’t hurt him. He is covered.

    What’s my point?

Here, in Africa, we deal with witchcraft from the place of ignorance instead of understanding. We end up as victims of our fears and they succeed in oppressing us at the same time.

  • HOW TO EXIT TRYING TIME IV

HOW TO EXIT TRYING TIME IV

    WHAT TO DO WHILE WAITING

    1. DO NOT ACCEPT FATE

    Luke 1:18
“And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.”

Don’t be like Zacharia. He accepted the status quo and didn’t believe the angel when he told him the promise. You will do yourself more harm when you accept the situation as a fate while waiting. Similarly, Sarah did the same thing, but mercy spoke for them(Zechariah and Sarah respectively). Mercy will speak for you as well in Jesus name.

    2. Use CDA+
    Mark 11:24
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

CDA+ is a household name for the Sons And Daughters Of Zion[SADOZ] which means Confess, Declare, Announce and + stands for imagine.
CDA is speaking positively in spite of all all you’re passing through. And beyond speaking, start imagining it as well. Don’t just say it within, speak it out loud so that the world hear it. So, don’t feel pity about it and keep declaring your new status..

    3. Use your rod

    Exodus 14:14-16
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”

This is your part to play, you’re to take steps of faith.
You are making wedding plans and there’s no money in your account, God told you it’s time? Then take the step of faith.
You’re waiting on God for your admission? Go and take the next form and write your exam, your rod as a student is to read for your exam. Your rod is peculiar to your situation. Yours is to go and study books, apply for courses and make researches..

I pray for you that your time has come. The Lord open your eyes to see the steps to take and the rod to take in Jesus name.

    4. Be Praiseful

    Psalms 100:4
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
It’s when you’re prideful that you have access to God and God will the step into your case.”

    5. Be Joyful

    Isaiah 12:3
“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Joy is a drawer, it’s the tools needed to draw your redemption rights and without it you will just end up in frustration.”

    6. Listen to your prophet

    Isaiah 44:26
“That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:”

    2 Chronicles 20:20
” And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

Your prophet have the mandate to speak over your life to end all your trying times under God. When you listen to them, you gain directions.

    7. Obey prophetic instructions

    John 2:5
” His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”

Whatever your Prophet tells you to do, do it!!!
It is in that instruction that your deliverance lies. The instruction I’m giving here is to be patient and go over this again and examine your life where you’re missing it.

Have you realized where you are getting it wrong? Can you just tell it to God to forgive you and receive the grace to do the needful. It’s well with you in Jesus name.

  • HOW TO EXIT TRYING TIMES II

HOW TO EXIT TRYING TIMES II

    1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

The less informed you are, about trying times, the more you have chances of loosing what God has in stock for you. And for you to exit trying times, you have to know the following:

    1. IT IS NOT UNCOMMON TO MAN

    1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is COMMON TO MAN: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

You must firstly have the understanding that trial is common to every man be it believer or unbeliever, anointed or unanointed alike.
You’re not the only one passing through that particular trial. There is a Yoruba adages which says: ‘ saying this situation has never occurred in life is just a means of scaring the victim’.
So, this is to justify the fact that, what you’re passing through is not a new trial. There are 10001 people that have passed through this same trial you’re passing through, and they all fall into 2 categories; some failed while some succeeded. Those who failed, didn’t do anything about it, while those who succeeded, are those who did something about it. They never quitted!!!
You are the determinant of the success of your trial. The truth is that, it had happened to some people and they testified afterwards.
    Hebrews 6:12
“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

    2. IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE BEYOND YOU

    1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted ABOVE THAT YE ARE ABLE; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

The trial you’re passing through, is not meant to be beyond you. The moment it is beyond you and you don’t know what to do again, it’s a signal that something is wrong. When an individual is involved in an accident, and the concerned part of the body is being stitched by the doctor, it’s expected that when the operation is going on, it shouldn’t be painful, and once it gets painful, it means something is wrong. That moment when the trial is overwhelming you, is a pointer to the fact that you’re not doing what you are supposed to do. And that is what we shall be dealing with in this series.

    3. IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE FOREVER

    1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a WAY OF ESCAPE, that ye may be able to bear it..”

The trial you are passing through, is not meant to be forever, so don’t lose hope. It will be wrong to accept it as a fate either. Don’t see the devil in it even if it is the devil that brought you into it. Start seeing God who will bring you out of it. And also, if it’s as a result of your past sin, lean on the cleaning power of the blood of Jesus. Do not allow the devil to pin you down with guilt.
God is ready to bring you out of that trial, Yes! He has provided a way of escape for you if you would be ready to accept Him into your trials.

    4. IT’S ONLY MEANT FOR A WHILE

    1 Peter 5:10
“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

    Isaiah 32:10(NLT).
“In a short time—just a little more than a year, you careless ones will suddenly begin to care. For your fruit crops will fail, and the harvest will never take place.”

The trial is only for a while, and it is not meant to be too long. It is not meant to be forever. the definition of ‘a while’ by God is a little more than a year, and once it’s more than a year, it’s becoming something else.
And if I may ask; do you know what is making it longer than the time it should be? It shall be discussed in the next part!!!

Now, check yourself, has the trial been taking a very long while in your life? I decree that your set time has come in the name of Jesus.

You will testify today!!! You will testify this week!!!

    You will testify this month!!!

It will not be more than this month in the name of Jesus..

    Amen!
