Developing an Effective Prayer Life: The Role of an Operating Prayer System and Timing – Pst. Damsam

In Psalms 55:17, it’s written, “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.” This verse highlights the importance of prayer throughout the day. To truly develop an effective prayer life, one must establish an operating system for prayer. An Operating Prayer System involves dedicating specific times for prayer, which can be categorized into two types: Structured and Unstructured Systems.

The Structured System is about maintaining a consistent and interval-based prayer schedule. For instance, setting aside specific hours like 8:00pm to 9:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for focused prayer. This structured approach helps cultivate discipline and consistency in your prayer routine. On the other hand, the Unstructured System refers to those moments when the Spirit prompts you to pray without a pre-scheduled time. This system relies on spiritual sensitivity and promptings.

The effectiveness of your structured system directly impacts the potency of your unstructured system. When you engage well in your structured prayer times, your spiritual senses become sharper, making you more receptive to promptings from the Spirit during unstructured moments. In essence, a robust structured prayer system nurtures a vibrant unstructured prayer experience.

A crucial aspect of a strong prayer life is having dedicated prayer times. Interestingly, the word “LIFE” can be synonymous with “TIME.” So, when you claim to have a prayer life, you essentially have a designated PRAYER TIME. To enhance the effectiveness of your prayer life, it’s essential to establish a structured prayer time.

To illustrate the importance of timing in prayer, let’s turn to Acts 3:1, “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.” This passage demonstrates that the early disciples had designated times for prayer, referred to as the “HOUR OF PRAYER.” Additionally, understanding the Jewish timing system sheds light on this concept. According to Jewish tradition, a day is divided into twelve hours, starting at 6am. Each hour has significance for prayer, emphasizing the importance of designated times:

    • 1st Hour: 7am
    • 2nd Hour: 8am
    • 3rd Hour: 9am
    • 4th Hour: 10am
    • 5th Hour: 11am
    • 6th Hour: 12noon
    • 7th Hour: 1pm
    • 8th Hour: 2pm
    • 9th Hour: 3pm
    • 10th Hour: 4pm
    • 11th Hour: 5pm
    • 12th Hour: 6pm

The correlation between specific hours and prayer is evident in Acts 2:15 as well: “For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.” The consistent prayer practices of the psalmist also highlight the significance of praying at different times of the day, as seen in Psalms 55:17.

Furthermore, the concept of watchmen adds another layer to effective prayer practices. Watchmen engage in full-time prayer ministry and adhere to a schedule of eight prayer watches throughout the day:

    • 6pm to 9pm: 1st watch
    • 9pm to 12am: 2nd watch
    • 12am to 3am: 3rd watch
    • 3am to 6am: 4th watch
    • 6am to 9am: 5th watch
    • 9am to 12pm: 6th watch
    • 12pm to 3pm: 7th watch
    • 3pm to 6pm: 8th watch

The practices of the Jews, the psalmist, and watchmen emphasize the power of incorporating a timing principle into your prayer life.

In conclusion, establishing an effective prayer life requires an operating system that encompasses both structured and unstructured prayer times. The timing principle, drawn from Biblical examples and traditions, highlights the importance of having designated prayer times for a vibrant and impactful prayer journey. Take time to reflect and consider how you can incorporate structured prayer times into your daily routine, aligning yourself with the spiritual rhythm observed by the early disciples and watchmen.

  • STAGES OF PRAYER: Pst. Damsam

    STAGES OF PRAYER: Pst. Damsam

    Stages of Prayer

“Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between His will and its accomplishment on earth.” – Elisabeth Elliot

Let us delve into the stages that an individual who prays goes through. Prayer can be both personal and corporate, but the focus of this book is on personal prayer for believers.

There are three stages that prayer progresses through:

    Activation Stage:

This initial stage introduces an individual to the act and art of prayer. It forms the foundational understanding of prayer and follows immediately after one accepts the life of Christ. Regardless of whether someone attends church or engages in earnest prayer beforehand, entering this basic stage requires having the life of Christ within. Admission into the School of Prayer is marked by possessing the life of Christ. Therefore, lacking this foundation means one cannot activate their prayer life, as it is the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person that avails much, not that of an unrighteous person. Being devout or involved in church activities does not equate to righteousness. A case in point is Cornelius in the Bible, who prayed devoutly but did not truly love God. Acts 10:1-2
[1]There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
[2]A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

    Unction Stage:

In this stage, an individual is no longer reliant solely on the prayers of others, but they are expected to have developed their own connection with prayer. The ability to pray is experienced with urgency, prompted by the Holy Spirit. This unction stage is activated by the Spirit of God Himself, leading to moments of sudden urge or burden to pray, even when not in a specific atmosphere.

    Switch Stage:

At this stage, an effective prayer life is defined. Individuals can switch on their own prayer power, without depending on their spiritual mentors or specific settings. Here, Apostle Paul’s words resonate, expressing the choice to pray with the spirit or understanding. The stage accommodates both structured and unstructured prayer. Structured prayer involves having a prayer schedule, while unstructured prayer occurs when one’s spiritual senses catch a frequency, prompting prayer. The effectiveness of structured prayer sharpens the spiritual senses for unstructured prayer. (1 Corinthians 14:15
[15]What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

By now, you may have identified your current stage. However, the journey of prayer continues beyond identification. It’s a pursuit of more, striving toward the fullness of Christ. Even great spiritual figures find themselves grappling at the switch stage, underscoring the ongoing nature of this spiritual journey. (Ephesians 4:13
[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

  • AN INTERESTING STORY OF A LION AND A SHEEP

Once upon a time in the rolling hills, a lioness was gracefully leaping from hillock to hillock, embracing the beauty of nature. However, destiny took a twist as she unexpectedly gave birth to a tiny cub right in the midst of her joyful leap.

This young lion cub found itself tumbling down to the road below, where a bustling crowd of sheep was meandering by. It was amidst this sea of sheep that the cub landed, bewildered and lost. Nature seemed to play a paradoxical trick – the cub grew up among sheep, living, behaving, and adapting like one.

From his very infancy, the cub was woven into the fabric of sheepish existence. He grazed like them, roamed like them, and was enveloped by the coziness of the crowd. The idea that he was a lion, not a sheep, never even flickered in his dreams. How could it have? All he saw around him were sheep – and so he became one.

As time ambled along, something peculiar happened. Slowly but surely, the cub began to grow into a young lion, unbeknownst to the sheep. The transformation occurred gradually, almost too subtle to notice. The sheep, accustomed to his presence, continued on, and the cub… well, he accepted his role, even though it felt a bit peculiar.

He didn’t roar like a lion; he didn’t act like one. The sheep were a close-knit family, always huddled together. But this peculiar member was not quite fitting in; he was a bit too eccentric for their comfort. However, they brushed off his differences, attributing it to a natural quirk, an oddity that happens now and then.

Despite his appearance, he continued munching grass contentedly alongside his sheep companions. His uniqueness didn’t trouble him much, and he lived his life as he thought he should. They thought he was a bit odd, and he thought he was a bit different – a peaceful coexistence of sorts.

However, nature’s rhythms kept playing their tune. The lion within him was growing, becoming more pronounced with every passing day. The cub was maturing into a splendid lion, a fact that his sheep friends simply couldn’t deny. But for them, familiarity bred acceptance, and they saw him through the lens of the past.

Then, one day, an old lion wandered by. His eyes widened in disbelief as he beheld this young lion standing among a herd of sheep. To his amazement, none of the sheep were afraid, and this lion was behaving just like them – grazing away on grass!

Stunned by this bizarre sight, the old lion was momentarily distracted from his hunt for a sheepish breakfast. He forgot his hunger as he focused on understanding this anomaly. In a sudden rush of determination, he decided to catch the young lion and unravel the mystery.

Chaos ensued as the old lion pursued the young one. Fear propelled the young lion to run like his life depended on it – because it did. In his instinct to survive, he ran like a true lion, abandoning the sheepish act. Eventually, the old lion cornered him, holding him in his grasp.

Tears streamed down the young lion’s face as he pleaded, “Please, forgive me! I am just a defenseless sheep, let me go.”

The old lion’s voice resounded sternly, “Enough of this foolishness. Come with me to the pond.” Near the scene, a tranquil pond mirrored the sky above, calm and undisturbed.

Reluctantly, the young lion accompanied the old one to the water’s edge. With a commanding tone, the old lion instructed, “Look into the water, my reflection beside yours. Observe our faces, our bodies.”

In a heartbeat, a powerful roar resonated, echoing across the hills. It was as if the very mountains responded to the roar’s call. The young lion’s reflection gazed back at him from the water, and in that moment, he saw his true self. The sheepish identity dissolved like morning mist; he recognized his real essence.

No longer bound by the illusion of sheephood, the young lion stood transformed. The identification with sheep was an illusion, a mental construct. The reality was that he was a lion all along, and now, he had seen it for himself. The old lion spoke no further, for the young one had understood.

As the young lion looked into the pond, a surge of energy rippled through him. Dormant power awakened within, a force he had never felt before. The frailty, the meekness, all vanished like shadows at dawn. The young lion stood tall, not just in stature, but in the grandeur of his true identity – a lion, ready to conquer the world with his newfound strength.

  • KNOWING YOUR IDENTITIES IN CHRIST 2 : Pst. Damsam

KNOWING YOUR IDENTITIES IN CHRIST 2 : Pst. Damsam

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You on this day with gratitude in our hearts. Speak to us and enlighten our understanding, revealing the truths You have in store for us tonight in Jesus’ name. Amen.

    Introduction:
As we continue our series on “Knowing Your Identities in Christ,” let’s recall the significance of understanding our identities as believers. If you missed the previous session, you can catch up here: Link to Recap. In the first part, we discussed how the lack of identity knowledge leaves many vulnerable to the devil’s schemes. Moreover, some believers’ prayers go unanswered due to their lack of identity awareness. (1 John 5:14)

We learned from the story of Elijah that knowing one’s identity is crucial. Elijah confidently demonstrated his identity by saying, “If I be a man of God,” and he acted accordingly. This certainty of identity empowered him to perform remarkable feats.

    The Power of Identity:

Your identity in Christ is closely tied to the will of God. Praying in alignment with His will ensures your prayers are heard. The Word of God encapsulates His will, and within it lies our identities. Just as Elijah remembered his identity, you too can assert your identity, align with God’s will, and experience extraordinary results.

It’s important to note that Elijah’s exceptional status is not unique to him alone. James reminds us that he was human like us, which underscores the potential within believers. (James 5:17) Moreover, Jesus affirms that even John the Baptist, though esteemed highly, is surpassed by those in Christ.

    Recap and Further Identities:
In our previous session, we unveiled two identities. Let’s review and explore more tonight.

    1. You Are a Christian:
The term “Christian” carries immense power, as it incorporates “Christ.” “Christ” means “The Anointed One,” indicating that you too are an anointed one. Recognizing this identity is essential, as the anointing resides within you. This identity can unlock various realities in your life. To delve deeper into this, watch the insightful teaching by @⁨~iNSIGHT⁩, SADOZ president, at Link.

    2. You Are an Ambassador:
2 Corinthians 5:20 reveals that believers are ambassadors for Christ. Similar to an ambassador representing a king in another land, you represent God’s kingdom on Earth. Just as the actions of an ambassador reflect the entire nation, your actions reflect Heaven. While the devil rules this earthly realm, remember that you come from above, with authority over his works. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

    3. You Possess the Mind of Christ:

God created man on the sixth day and gave him a mind—an instrument of creation. Your mind holds the raw materials of creation and spiritual intelligence. By tapping into this mind, you can extract solutions from challenges. Philippians 2:5 encourages having the mind of Christ, the Word that created everything. This mind enables you to create from nothing and empowers you for greatness.

    4. You Are a King:

Revelation 5:10 declares that God has made us kings and priests. Ecclesiastes 8:4 underscores the power in the words of a king. As believers, we’re called “King of kings.” Knowing your identity as a king grants you authority and power in your words and actions. Embrace this identity to exercise dominion and operate in divine influence.

    Conclusion:
Understanding your identities in Christ is the key to a victorious life. As you grasp these truths, you’ll operate in the supernatural, wield the authority of a king, and experience the transformative power of your identity. Walk boldly in the reality of Christ’s finished work and fulfill your purpose as a representative of God’s kingdom on Earth.

  • KNOWING YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST 1 : Pst. Damsam

KNOWING YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST 1 : Pst. Damsam

The topic we voted for is KNOWING YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST. The biggest problem of man is the problem of identity. When you as a believer doesn’t know your identity in Christ, you can’t actualize every spiritual blessings that has been given to you in Christ. You will be a none entity if you don’t know your identity as a believer. This is the reason why Paul was writing to the Ephesian believers that they may “KNOW”:

    Ephesians 1:18
[18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

As Daddy use to say that
There is no darker darkness than the darkness of ignorance
Also there is no higher mountain than the Mountain of ignorance
If believers of nowadays can just KNOW their identity in Christ 99.99% of the challenges being faced would be solved
Let me tell you a story
There is a young lion that by mistake found itself amid sheep in its infancy

This young lion began growing with other sheep’s and began to be eating grass like they do
The young lion noticed that her shape is different from others while growing
One of the sheep told her that it’s likely to be so, that perhaps she is from another breed
She was eating grass which is even against her nature of eating flesh because she is a carnivorous animal

But one day, a mother lioness was passing by and saw this young lion in their midst eating grass like them and running away at her sight
The mother lioness have to leave the prey she was pursing and rescue the young lion
The young lion saw her and saw so many things in common and began to be living in reality
This young lion suffered for year’s because she didn’t know her identity
She was belittled, cheated and treated abnormally because of lack of identity
That’s how so many Christ were today
They have reduced themselves spiritually and are tossed to and fro by Life challenges and demonic activates because of lack of tge knowledge of WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST

So tonight I will be showing us some of our identity in Christ
    YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST

    1. YOU ARE A SPIRIT BEING

      John 3:6
[6]That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
      When you are born again
      You becomes a new man
The Bible says that you are a spirit
New birth makes you a spirit being in human flesh
      To understand your make up
You need to look at Adam before fall
Adam named all the animals in this world himself
      He was naked
There are 4 rivers in the garden
Yet the weather didn’t affect him
      Adam shared divinity with God
      He works in the supernatural
Because of the Spirit that is in him
      When you are born again
You are restored back into that Adam initial estate
      It’s called the Supernatural estate
Jesus explained John 3:6 well in verse 8

    John 3:8
[8]The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
He said you will be operating like a wind
    Can you capture a wind?
Can you say this is what do cause a wind to blow ?
    Okay
If you are in a room that is full of heat and you on your fan and the fan is blowing wind/air to you

Cam you tell me where the wind/air is coming from?
Is it from the socket or from inside the fan?
    Of course
You can’t explain where is it coming from
    Wind works supernaturally
    It’s beyond man’s understanding
And that is how you are supposed to be operating as a believer
When a normal sense is trying to get you, they suppose to be lost because you are a spirit, you operate from a realm that is above normal sense
When a normal man is looking at you praying in tongues, communing with your Father in a language of the Spirits they should be lost because you are a spirit
    You see a sick
    You lay your hand
    Instead of prescribing drug
    And the sick was healed

    Because you are a spirit
Operating in the supernatural should be what you do at ease because you believe in Jesus
    Mark 16:17-18
    [17]And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
[18]They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

    2. YOU ARE ABOVE ALL

    John 3:31
[31]He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
Jesus in John Chapter 3 again says YOU ARE ABOVE ALL.

So, I will be showing you your position tonight by explaining the spiritual hierarchy to you
I will be explaining it with a diagram

Until you know your position in the Spirit, you will be still be belittled by the devil and demonic operations

The first on the list is THE GODHEAD

GOD the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

After the first rank is YOU
    Yes, You as a believer
God the Father , Son and Holy Spirit

In fact, you are in the same rank with the GodHead
You are seated with the GodHead in heavenly places
You may be sitting in your office or parlour as you are attending this study but in the spirit realm, you are just beside the Trinity
    Ephesians 2:6
[6]And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Can you see 2 together here ?
This position you are in the Spirit is an heritage you have through the work of Jesus
    When He died
    You died together

    When He rose up

    You rose together with Him

When He seated at the right hand
    You do together
    Where are sitting
Even angels are not having access to that place
    They are under you
They are meant to minister for you
You are to command them to work
    It’s your reality
And below angels are is the Lucifer and demons
You are far above the devil
When you know this you will just be mocking the devil😂
    Because that’s his weak point
Once you just know, you are free
You will be reigning in life unhindered

    Ephesians 1:21-22
[21]Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
[22]And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Where are you sitting is Faaaaaaaaaar above the devil and his demons
It’s just like you are sitting on a storey building and someone at the floor level is telling you he will pour water on your head 😂

What will you do for such person?
You will just be laughing because the person is not making sense
    That’s your identity
You are above all the works of the evil
    You are above that sickness
    You are above failure
    You are above delay
    You are above stagnation
    You are above frustration
    In the name of Jesus
I speak that any operation of the enemy upon your life is ending tonight as a result of this knowing in the name of Jesus!!!
You are free from all demonic oppression
Is there anyone sick in the house?

In the name of Jesus, I stand on the grace of my fatherFathereclare you whole right now
Check for that sickness and see it no more
    Check for that infirmity
    It has disappeared
Begin to walk in the reality of your identity in Jesus’ name
    We shall continue on Thursday
    You are blessed!!!

  • BECOMING AN AUTHOR: Writing Many Books – Pst. Ife ADETONA

BECOMING AN AUTHOR: Writing Many Books – Pst. Ife ADETONA

Pastors come to ask me HOW THEY CAN WRITE A LOT OF BOOKS. They expect me to start telling them several principles and methods. But I have just a statement for them: TEACH A SERIES, RECORD AND GET SOMEONE TO TRANSCRIBE”. If you do that, 70% of the job is done. A series on faith for instance can give you three books on faith. Even if you don’t want to extract up to three, it will give you at least one. Then, you take another series on Prosperity and turn it into a book. That’s how it is done. If you see Baba Areogun, ask him. Many of Bishop Oyedepo’s books today are a product of his recorded seminars (series).

    GET A RECORDER.

I was given a budget of 500k in 2015 if we want our messages recorded. After spending 75k on a PA System that they said has a recording feature only to realize it was ineffective, I got a digital mobile recorder for!!! Guess? 6k. Yes. Six Thousand Naira. Today, it costs 11k. I got one this month. Just type “Digital Voice Recorder” on JUMIA. You will see varieties. Ensure you get the one with a microphone and always use it with the mic. It makes lots of difference. The battery can last for several hours or days. You should charge only with a power bank or laptop. The recorded audio clip can also be transferred to the laptop for further editing on Audacity or whatever software you are used to.

    SERMONIZED TRANSCRIPT

There’s a difference between a sermon and a book. Many pastors do not realize this, especially the whites (because they write more). If your sermon is transcribed, the person is likely to have sermonized it. Thus, it may become unnecessarily bulky or filled with repetitions. That is why some books bore you when you read them. You shouldn’t let your book look like a sermon. It shouldn’t just be a “copy n paste”.

I will tell you how to get it done properly and other details.

    TRANSCRIBERS

There are three categories of transcribers. The first is NON-GRAMMATICAL TRANSCRIBERS. They don’t care much about the English. They just write what you said. They may not punctuate correctly. No paragraphing, headings and so on. If you work with such a transcript, you still need to rewrite it. You may also have to overwrite in many cases.

The next is BROADCASTING TRANSCRIBE. In this case, the person is grammatically inclined. They will include proper punctuation and even add some headings. This is what most people turn into books immediately after editing and formatting. Of which it shouldn’t end here. It makes books unnecessarily bulky and full of repetition. That’s why you get bored when reading some books. They sound more like a sermon than a book. There should be a difference between books and sermons.

    The third is EDITORIAL TRANSCRIBING.

I just give them names to make the explanation clearer. There are few professionals that can get this done for you. The first is a book writer. They transcribe as if they are making the book already. They will delete repetitions, rephrase, paraphrase, add headings, sub-headings and even some formatting. Another person that can do this for you is an experienced book editor.

When you’re done with the transcribing, move to editing, formatting and publishing. Refer to my previous article to do it yourself or appoint someone.

Meanwhile, you can also transcribe your sermon by yourself. In fact, it may be more efficient if you don’t get the best hand. It will save you time as well. If you are doing it yourself while transcribing ensure that the only thing you do is transcribing and not rewriting. If you have anything to add, keep it for later.

I think say I don try. We will end the series here. Thus far, I believe have attended to all questions that ensued and I am still available to attend to more.

My biggest advice- YOU HAVE ALL IT TAKES TO WRITE A BOOK, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

  • GIVING TO YOUR TEACHER – Pst.Ife ADETONA

GIVING TO YOUR TEACHER – Pst.Ife ADETONA

Tonight, the LORD will have me talk about GIVING TO YOUR TEACHER. I don’t know if you like to hear it or not. As a person, it’s not a topic that I do teach. But God asked me to teach it. That was last week. Sadozites are wonderful people. I must tell you, I don’t have any reason to complain. So, there’s nothing like wanting to talk about it out of anger. Lol.

And do you know what? Last week, when God told me to talk about it, I objected but He convinced me. Between that day and today (one week), I have received monetary gifts from Sadozites to a volume that I have not seen this year. What’s my point? Phi 4:17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. I know teaching you this and understanding it will be a BLESSING to you.

Look at this: 2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. There’s something called FULL OBEDIENCE. Have you tried to enter a password before and you miss just one letter? Did it work? Kingdom Prosperity, especially in terms like this, only works on FULL OBEDIENCE.

One of the vital digits in the password to financial breakthrough is GIVING TO YOUR TEACHER. Some doors won’t open. Some prayers won’t answer. Some situations won’t bow. Some blessings won’t even be SPOKEN until you exchange hands with your teacher. 1Co 9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? Can you see the law of sowing and reaping here? Angels are doing the exchange under certain rules. You sow the carnal to get the spiritual. Do you know I never moved into a level of financial breakthrough until I made it a habit to give 10% of all my income to my spiritual father? That’s aside the 10% to Sadoz.

Let me make it clear. I didn’t say UNTIL you do what I did. I am talking about what happened to me. On my ordination, I arranged to wear a native wear but we prepared for our seed to my spiritual father. It is a seed. Your teacher is your prophet. He teaches you, you grow, and it turns out for your good…what did you give to him? He blesses you and you say AMEN. What did you give? Why would Jacob request venison before he could bless his children? Gen. 27:3-4 And make me savory meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that my soul may bless thee before I die.

Why couldn’t he bless Esau later on after eating? There’s something called PROVOKED blessings. It is only gifts that can draw it out. The man of God doesn’t have to say much word. Prov.18: 16 A man’s gift maketh room for him and bringeth him before great men. If you think this verse is talking about talent, you have been taught wrongly.

Let me show you the Hebrew word and meaning used. To move to a level of greatness, giving to your teacher is not a suggestion, it is a must. Like I told you, I have no issues. I am always blessed and filled. God had told me: if you obey me and practice what you teach, I will bless you whether your members give to you or not. But I won’t lie to you, Sadozites are giving to me. For instance, someone sends me an allowance for data every month. So, you can say that I AM ENJOYING.

There used to be a group of people that bought foodstuffs for me every month until I told them to stop. They didn’t want to stop, they started furnishing my office. I was able to disband the group. Do you know why I disbanded it? Some were joining them, they didn’t partake in giving but wanted to know everything they do. I don’t want a kind of gossip. I am talking of the year 2017. I am really loved and I know it. I don’t need to teach so that you can give. Just today, I told some people that they shouldn’t have bought the clothes they bought for me and my wife, though we appreciated it.

One time, my whole wardrobe was changed by some people. I got a new set of clothes entirely. That was in 2020 or so? Someone would say – “pastors are enjoying us”. Well, I don’t know of other pastors but me, I am. You can also go and become a pastor. What’s my point tonight – whatever I teach you on this subject, it is not for me, but for you. I want you to have full obedience and a full testimony. GIVING WITH UNDERSTANDING You can’t get the reward of giving to your teacher without having the right understanding. You can’t stay blessed under a man and never gave to him! Not even in the last eight months of this year.

    2. What you give cannot be too much Compare what you give to what you have received from the same person spiritually? 3. It can’t be too small I know some are shy to give because they feel it’s too small. I felt that way too. 1. It is a seed. All seeds are always small. 2. You will grow as you give 4. It is an investment Some ask, should I meet my need or give to my teacher? Think of it this way: you are not losing when you give, you are investing. Gen 8:22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest. Should I give to the poor or my teacher? Give to the poor what belongs to the poor and to your teacher what belongs to him; else, you rob yourself. Should I give to my parents or my teacher?

Give to your parent what belongs to them and your teacher what belongs to them. At times, you invest so that you can have more to share with your people. 5. See your seed as an honor and not helping him Abraham rejected the gifts of the kings so that they won’t brag over him in the future. Gen 14:23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich. Those who do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. If you give to me and get puffed up, I will humble you. Some of you have given me stuff and I called to question the source! Because what they give is more than what I expect as their capacity. I don’t accept until they explain.

Someone sent money to my account yesterday, he said for SADOZ project, I said I am not SADOZ. I blessed him and channeled his money to SADOZ. I also gave him SADOZ account number. Someone used to give me a certain amount but one day, she doubled it. I called to ask her what

what happened. She said she wanted to send some to SADOZ. I told her it is different. A teacher and a pastor heading somewhere don’t joke with their honor in God. If I bless you spiritually without being puffed up, should you get puffed up when you give to me? Sadozites are not guilty of this anyway. I trust my children in the Lord. And I fully appreciate them! I am only teaching you what is right.

See it as an honor, give it honorably. Thank God for the privilege to be a blessing to His servant. Because God will always find a way to feed His Elijah even if you are not available. God used animals to feed Elijah when need comes for it. When I stopped that foodstuff, I tell you, it was when I just got married and we were living on whatever we got. But no, I rather go hungry than have mixed multitudes. 7. Don’t say they have enough, they don’t need my gift Listen, the soil never needs the seed, it is the seed that needs the soil. People give to me and get blessed so my wife also started giving to me. I am her teacher and prophet, isn’t it? Do you think my spiritual father needs my money?

I was sending 500 naira to him back then. That was in 2019. Today, huhmmmm, I have increased. Yet if I don’t give him, he can’t feel it. Never said your teacher has enough. Do you have enough? Do you need more blessings? Mat 10:41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. Mar 9:41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

AVENUES FOR GIVING Sort every opportunity to give as there is no time you can’t give. But there’s something we seldom do in SADOZ at birthdays. Mummy had a birthday the last time isn’t it and some people got her a gift. I decided to ask the treasurer how much was raised and how many people gave. My people, the answer is not good enough. She said 31k. About 16 people contributed it. We have not less than 100 sisters here and up to 50 people signified willingly that they wanted to be part of it. Now, she isn’t complaining, and I have no reason to complain on her behalf. At least one person gave her almost x2 of that. So, why would there be any grumble.

I told you, God will get through to his people anyhow. But it’s all for our good! I know another person, one person that gave her about half of that on her own. So, you see there’s no justification to complain here. I am only teaching you. Here, NO ONE WILL COMPEL YOU TO GIVE TO HIM, YOU WILL ONLY BE TAUGHT. Blessedness of Giving to your teacher Many have been pointed out already. Just take this as a bonus. LAST KEY TO TOUR OPEN HEAVEN. Hosea 12: 13 And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. 2 Chron. 20:20 Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. The same man that teaches you and you believe, if he prays for you God will answer.

KIDS n TOY – Pst. Ife ADETONA

My wife got a toy for our daughter, that one looks like an Octopus. The African man in me was alarmed “WHAT IS THIS? BLOOD OF JESUS! HOPE IT’S NOT?”

The New Man asked calmly: who created the Octopus 🐙 in the first place, Satan or God?

    Scriptures began to jump forward:

When God created all things including the Octopus, He said it was VERY GOOD.

God speaking to Peter said: whatever I have called clean, do not call it unclean.

I looked at the toy, smiled and blessed it. Welcome new toy.

Recently, another toy came in. Guess the image “Dinosaur”. The toy will even sing: “I am your friend Dinosaur” 🦕.

The night I came in and saw it, the African man in me wanted to scream again but the inner man covered his mouth with his hand! “Stop saying nonsense”.

    I blessed the Dinosaur toy.

I came in the next day and my wife said they have given the toy the name “Diane”. (Sorry if your name is Diane and you feel bad). But naming things is a weapon as well.

Whatever name Adam named the animals was the name they bear to date. If you call your toy “demonic”, it answers that. If you name it otherwise, it goes on. Death and life are on your tongue.

    But…but…
You have to be fortified. If you will taste what others around you call poison then, you must have a poison neutralizer

I can dare where others fear not because I am naturally bold but because I am scripturally bold.

    What am I saying?
Don’t just say: it cannot affect me. GET WHAT IT TAKES FOR IT NOT TO AFFECT YOU. And it’s not hard to do, JUST THE WORD.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword.
