When nonsense keeps going around, it begins to sound like commonsense.

Jonathan’s government was corrupt and full of incompetence. No doubt, it was the worst as of then. Even now, you can’t give him a pass mark. That is why, even though I believed and supported him against the opposition, I blame him for everyone who chose not to vote for his government. He de-marketed himself. Pastor Adeboye in his wisdom threatened a protest and carried it out.

During Buhari’s regime, Pastor Adeboye in his wisdom called on all RCCG members to stage a prayer walk which was also a form of protest against the incumbent.

Baba Adeboye had been praying for Nigeria as an optimist from the military eras till this moment. He has provided jobs and touched more lives both spiritually and economically than any Nigerian politician dead or alive.

What did you say he did wrong?
Do you want him to become an activist? What is your father doing at home? And your mother? We know they don’t have a voice but remember this motivational quote: “Ordinary people can do extraordinary things”. Snap your father’s one-man protest with a placard standing in front of your local government chairman’s office and send it to us. He must do this at every government in Nigeria till Nigeria becomes good. If you are angry at the government, face your elected officers or your father, not another man’s father and grandfather.

Believe me, I want this country to work. I canvassed people to vote and I voted myself. I also pray for the current government. I want things to be way better off. But you see, in a period of commotion, every father seeks refuge and a “way out” first, for his own family.

God is not just your God, He is your Lord and Father. You may not know the number of American citizens living in Nigeria but if a war starts, America will come for them and provide a way out while the war lasts and while America tries to mediate to see the end of the war.

The first instinct of a Father is to save His Household. God is the Creator of all but not a FATHER to all. If He is your Father, find out about HIS BAILOUT package. Yes, God bailed out the Hebrews in Egypt. He bailed out Isaac.

Bishop Oyedepo said he fasted for a whole year. You think He wasn’t meeting his wife at that time, right?

Kenneth Hagin started living a fasted life at some point. So, you think he stopped meeting with his wife too?

Some would say, “You can meet but before the fasting starts (before 9 am) and after you break”. Who set the rules? YOUR FASTING, YOUR RULES. One may say, I will be taking water while fasting, another would say he doesn’t want to take water. Or I want to take hot tea in the morning. One would say, my fasting is 6 am to 6 pm. Another would say, my own is 12midnight to 12noon. Again, your fasting, your rules, God didn’t set any rule for anyone.

Another said: “But we must deny ourselves of pleasure”. IS IT YOUR PLEASURE OR MY PLEASURE? Someone said he wanted to do without phones during his fast. Another said he wanted to do without going out. Just the same way, another can say this fasting of mine includes or excludes intercourse.

People talk about strength and energy- it takes more energy to change your car tyres than to copulate with your spouse. However, check your health and strength before including sexual intercourse within your fast. But you can comfortably have it in the early hours or after you break. That’s an advice, not a rule. “Your fasting, your rules”.

1 Corinthians 7:5.
[5]Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Cogent things from the passage: This passage is more about concentration. If (not a must or the rule), if you want to avoid distraction that comes with sexual intercourse during your retreat time then, get your spouse’s consent. Some of you go to work, watch movies, hang out with friends and eat food which are bigger distractions but you feel you shouldn’t meet with your spouse.

The passage also states that It must be brief. Not like 100 days. Not even 10 days. Brief here should be within 3 days to 5 days or most, 7 days (or based on agreement and mutual understanding). So, God is not expecting someone going on 30 days fast to not meet with their partner for 30 days.

There’s no end to denying oneself during a fast whether in terms of food, duration, activities and intercourse, it is as far as you can go but all things remain OPTIONAL and based on WISDOM.

In our case, we do without it during the hours or days (in terms of a marathon) of our fast mainly because of concentration and strength. We can also choose to do otherwise if need be, we are not under a compulsion.

Tonight, our topic is DELIVERANCE BY DOMINION.

I will start by pointing out that SATAN is indeed real. The way I talk, it seems as if Satan is unreal, right? Satan is real. His powers are real. But more real is our Dominion.

Eph 6:12 states, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” You’re already familiar with this passage. We wrestle because they exist.

The Bible says the whole earth lies in darkness. 1 John 5:19 states, “And the whole world lies in wickedness.” The whole world lies in the hand of the wicked one. Jesus referred to Satan as the Prince of this world. John 12:31 says, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.” The earth is in the hands of someone, Satan. You may want to ask, how did it get into his hand? Satan said it. Satan even promised to give the world to Jesus.

Luke 4:6 reads, “And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.” Satan said IT WAS DELIVERED UNTO HIM. Jesus didn’t argue with him. How did it get into his hand? WHEN ADAM FELL. Adam fell and lost it.

Now…this is one truth you should know. Jesus did take the power away from the devil. He only takes your portion and my portion away from the hands of the devil. But you may not have it until you claim it. I don’t know if you have claimed your own. Satan will also not give you everything at once; he will hold on to some part. But tonight, you have full control. If you are always failing in your academics, then, maybe that is the area he held on to. You have to get it off from his hand. That’s why the Bible says,

1 John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.” Can you say, I AM OF GOD? The rest of the world is in the hand of the wicked one, but I AM OF GOD.

Have you ever worked in a company where two people are under different bosses? One organization but A is under Mr. K and B is under Mrs. J. Then, you see that someone is enjoying his boss while the other is not. We may be living in the same earth, but we are not under the same authority. You must know this.

1 John 5:5 states, “Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4 says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” This is the victory that overcomes the world, EVEN OUR FAITH.

So, you see…how you overcome the devil is not by prayer or fasting; it is by faith. It is not by vigils. We must be well-taught! You didn’t overcome because of what you do but because of what HE DID.

Matthew 28:18 states, “And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Satan wanted to give Jesus the power through a shortcut without the cross, but Jesus chose the way of the cross. Glory to Jesus.

So, the first way to reign in DOMINION IS TO KNOW. Be full of this understanding, people of God. I was in my dream after praying for someone. Satan came and said, “Why are you delivering this family?” I said, “God sent Jesus because Jesus is His best. Jesus sent me because I am His best. So, I am God’s BEST BEST.” Then they left me.

You need to be more aware of this than you’re aware of the generational curses in your father’s house. You need to be more aware of this than you’re aware of your family pattern. Be more aware of this than you are aware of the witches and wizards all around you. Be more aware!

You need to know the mentality that I carry about. I carry the Dominion mentality. I drive a car just as you know. I have all my papers complete and my license up to date. I have all the required equipment in the car. I don’t say POLICE or FRSC should not stop me, but they will hiss if they do so because they won’t see kobo. I discovered that they have marked some of us on the road. Once they see us, they don’t stop us. At least, none had stopped me this year.

Don’t ask Satan not to come, but he won’t get anything from you when he comes. At the HEALING & DELIVERANCE NIGHT, there will be INSTANT HEALING AND DELIVERANCE. I will also be ministering to those that require it. The first is to BE EQUIPPED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHO YOU ARE. The second is to PROOF YOUR RIGHT.

Let me share something that happened to me today. They told me that a family member close to me was sick. I know my right, but Satan still came to attack my family member. I must do something to stop the harassment. What must I do? QUOTE THE WORD! The word that confirms your right. Here’s what many people miss:

You confess it once and close their mouth. No… You don’t have a job, how many times have you commanded your job today and claimed it with the word? How many times has the thought come to your mind today? How many of those times did you divert the thought into claiming? Police man stopped you. Asked for your driver’s license. You have it, but you were explaining.

Just show him! Someone is getting liberated tonight. Someone is declaring and receiving it immediately. That person is you. Someone is taking it by fire now! That person is YOU. I will also be in LAGOS this FRIDAY & SATURDAY by the grace of God, we shall examine the topic: VICTORIOUS ARMY. Your February is our DELIVERANCE MONTH.

We are leaving no chances. Before this month ends, no more chains will be left on you in Jesus’ Name! You’re free indeed! ✅

Victor Osimhen needs to up his penalty-taking skill, free kick and long shot. These are easy ways or quick ways to add to his goal records.

A great and selfless striker, no doubt. For his career, he needs it going forward. He is the crowned African best and Nigeria’s best at the moment. He should be best at taking those chances as well.

He brought two penalties upon the opponent but he wasn’t trusted to take it. That he was removed just before a penalty shootout is another pointer that he’s not so good at it. SPEED is an advantage but he needs strategy to get many goals.

It’s the same with our career and relationship. There’s always something to UP and IMPROVE upon. A generous husband who is deficient in communication needs to work on his communication skills. An expert photographer but clumsy needs to up his organizing skills.

His great speed is not enough to give him the Baloon Do’or award or FIFA the Best. Those two penalties would have given him 3 goals by now. And the better the topmost striker is, the better for the team as a whole. At the end of the day, people will only remember the summary of the game. Like, how many goals did he score?

FULFILMENT OF PROPHECIES

When you pray in the Holy Ghost, you birth fulfillment of PROPHECIES. Waiting for a prophecy to be fulfilled, but you haven’t seen it fulfilled? Get on your prayer watch for the whole of February as we have in this schedule. Pray EVERYDAY! 1 Corinthians 14:4 says, “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” You may not know the interpretation but keep praying. There’s something we call CLIMAX when praying for long. At those climaxes, you go into the future to make some things happen. You call things forth as though they were. Angels are charged to take up roles. You may not know what is happening but you feel a change in your mood of prayer. You may grieve. You may shout. Your tongue may change. Something just happens. And yes, something has happened in the spirit realm.

Romans 8:26 says, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” When you reach that climax, you calm down again. And then you begin to reboot. And then another climax. My dear, you are no more ordinary. It’s like watching a football or movie. There are heightened sessions and less tensed sessions. So, don’t feel bad or weary in your less-tense session, it is a build-up.

2. AUTHORITY

Your tongue becomes fortified too. What you say becomes an authority. That’s the advantage of praying in tongues for long. When the Apostles started talking with AUTHORITY, the people wondered how they got to that level being unlearned people. Guess what they said? Act 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. When you pray for long… when you tarry in the place of prayer, you ARE WITH JESUS.

You may not feel anything or see anything but you have been there. When you come out, you come out extraordinary! Remember Moses? He didn’t even realize that his face was shining. He has been with God. His face has been changing gradually, beaming glory. In this 28 days fasting and prayer + vigil, you have been changing!

2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As you stay, you behold, as you behold, you get changed. Coming from a 7-days retreat in the year 2016 or so, I went to Iseyin for a SADOZ programme. A lady had been battling with an asthmatic cough. I only touched her, the condition disappeared. The same day, she stopped using her medication. The same day, started eating all manners. Till date, HEALED! She’s in SADOZ MAS CHOIR. These are the things we see and that our hand has handled. When you have stayed with God, you become a constituted authority to man.

I saw this heated debate in a christian group at a time. They were asking for scriptures that said midnight prayers are superior to day time prayers.

The Bible says, while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. That means if he was awake, the enemy won’t succeed.

Midnight prayers are strategic in spiritual warfare. The enemies and demons roam around at midnight. Whether they will succeed one time or another time, they don’t know but they do walk around at that time. Those that pray at midnight knows. We take note of them. They also take note of us. The best time to impede their activity is when they are actively carrying out their enterprise.

I didn’t say pray all night because you want to have a face-off. But don’t sleep all night.

At another time, in the midnight, Jesus told his disciples to pray so that they won’t fall into temptation. Luke puts it this way: “Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation”. Luk 22:46. Mathew and Mark used a more strategic word: keep watch and pray. Watch here means vigil. It is used for security men who keep night watch.

Midnight prayers disciplines our flesh just as fasting does. Where the spiritual energy is well channeled, our body get under.

Third, midnight atmosphere gives a quiet environment for the human mind and ease our fellowship as well as our ability to decode messages in our spirit.

Look at Job 33:15-16
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction

Jesus says MEN ought always to pray and not faint. This includes midnights.

Again, the Bible says pray without ceasing. This also includes midnight.

Some do not even do either midnight or daytime prayers. You are not praying in the day time. You are also not praying at night. What have you been doing?

When we talk about PRAYING FOR LONG at a stretch on a regular basis, many feel it is an additional demand to their insufficient time but it actually supposed to be a substitution.

Just take a little minute from the time you spend surfing the internet, take a little from the one you spend gossiping, a little from your oversleeping time, a little here and there, you have some hours!

7 am to 10 am is 3 hours. What did you do with those hours on Saturdays? A little more sleep or searching the internet?

9 pm to 12 midnight is 4 hours! I bet that many of us don’t sleep until midnight. What do you use that 4 hours to do? That is a good time to pray as well.

You’re having a sleepless night, tossing from one point of the bed to the other. Stand up and pray. Exercise in the place of prayer, and you will land on the bed again exhausted and experience a refreshing short but deep sleep.

You’re travelling in a bus, what do you use that time for? To reminiscence? To fantasize? But can you use a chunk of it to pray?

Why not PRAY now? Yes, Now. Pray! Pray!

You thought you had prayed for one hour but found out you only did 30 minutes, READ THIS

“Sincerely there a day I tried praying for an hour but when I reach like 30minut I thought is even more than one hour. But God will continue to help us to grow more”

REPLY: No. Don’t look at the time. Just tell yourself, I will check the time when I am very tired. When you check the time and you see 30 minutes, don’t say- so I only spent 30 minutes, say, I have just 30 minutes left. The first 30 minutes usually look long but the second 30 minutes is usually short.
Try it.
