Why do YOU mourn your Loved Ones?

“He is my son, I looked up to him to take me out of poverty.”

“She is my sister, she is the one catering for my needs.”

“He is my father, who else will pay my school fees, now I will suffer”.

“I am her pastor, people will think I don’t have anointing”.

“He is so jovial and funny, he makes me laugh, I will miss him”.

“She is my fiancee, I lost my wife-to-be”.

” Her has left the responsibility of the children on me”

We mourn people because of US and not because of THEM.

Can we stop to think about them for a moment?

This world remains vanity upon vanity. The earth is thousands of years old

There were generations before us and a generation is coming after us. After that, another and another and another and another.

We are just a pinch of salt in the vast ocean of history to happen if Christ tarries.

The end for an individual is actually a rest.

When we lay hold of the old, we don’t want the new.

But a person who has seen the new, doesn’t want to return to the old.

We weep for our loved ones because of US and not because of THEM.

If we truly love them, let us rejoice with them because if they die in Christ, they are rejoicing indeed!

Our grief is genuine because they left a vacuum. Yet, it is still all about US and not THEM.

This sincere discovery is the step to healing.

For the void they leave behind, the Comforter will fill.

Sweet, should be the remembrance of the righteous.
