I wanted to pray for a sick person at a particular time and I asked “Do you have Faith that when I pray with you, you’ll be healed?” and the person replied by saying, “If it’s God’s will to heal me!” Kai! I was shocked.

There are so many people today that are not healed when they pray such prayer and they later conclude that Divine healing is a scam and it’s not real. I want you to know that the word of God is Yea and Amen, it is you that is having an issue.

The Bible says the Prayer of Faith shall heal the sick but praying with the proviso “IF IT’S GOD’S WILL TO HEAL ME” is not a prayer of Faith. People in this sect do quote 1 John 5:14 which says “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS WILL, he heareth us:”

Andrew Murray truly says, “It simply is impossible to pray with faith when we are not sure that we are asking according to the will of God. As long as one prays, inserting the proviso, ‘if it be thy will,’ one is praying with submission but this is not the prayer of faith.”

To divide the word of truth rightly, we should first ask ourselves, “What is the will of God?” Will can be defined as a written document presented by someone to his ward. Therefore the Will of God is the Word of God. This is attested to by John in John 15:7 – “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” ( Remember the same John who wrote 1John 5:14 is the one who wrote this).

The Syrophoenician woman knew this fact and she claimed her daughter’s healing from Jesus. She ‘willed’ it and received it. Matthew 15:28 “Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as THOU WILT And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.”

Now ready to receive your healing, do you wish to be healed? Now align your will to His will and begin to walk in the reality of divine healing.
