Man was naked, he sewed leaves together to cover himself God took pity on him. The leaves won’t last long and cannot cover him properly. God killed a lamb and used the skin to make clothes for man God shed the first (animal) blood to cover the sin of man God prove to man that though He gave him a brain, he is not independent of Him. God showed the hand of love towards man. The first innocent lamb that was killed was an example of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ covers our nakedness and all consequences of the sin of the first man.
