    SCHOOL OF ACADEMIC SUCCESS,KBI TESTIMONY

Pastor DamSam introduced me to the School of Academic Success. He was a stranger to me at the time, yet caring enough to take interest in me and my academics. When I first enrolled in the School of Academic Success course, I didn’t know what to expect, but I believed it could turn things around for me. Honestly, it has been one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had.

From the School of Academic Success, I have learned goal setting, time management, and study techniques, to mention just a few. I’ve learned to set goals in my academics and take practical steps to achieve them. Before, I wasn’t able to use the time I had effectively, but with the lessons from the course, I am now able to manage my time properly and use it to achieve things of value. The study techniques that this course revealed to me have been transformative. The way I now study has changed drastically—I am now able to study faster and retain vital information. During the lessons, I felt assured and knew that there would be improvements in my academic abilities.

The course has significantly impacted the way I approach my academics. The strategies I learned—such as goal setting, creating a study timetable, and trusting God—have made my workload feel more manageable. I’ve become more confident in my abilities and more consistent in my study habits. Now, I no longer wait until the last minute to complete tasks. I find myself studying for longer periods and staying focused. This positive shift in my mindset has not only improved my academic performance but also strengthened my overall self-discipline.

Looking back on my experience, the journey through the School of Academic Success has truly been life-changing. I now apply every lesson I’ve learned to every area of my academics, believing that it is enough to make me the very best. The School of Academic Success didn’t just teach me how to study—it taught me how to believe in my own ability to succeed, and in God.

Question and Answer Session with PIA vol.4

Question 1: Is it biblically advisable to pause a courtship if someone feels unprepared for marriage?

    Response:
If you’re in courtship and feel unprepared, it’s wise to step back—but let’s understand what “pause” really means. A pause is often a diplomatic way of saying you’re stopping the relationship. If you say “pause,” you should mean “end”—especially if there’s no certainty of resuming.

Courtship is critical. Sometimes, what people call “courtship” is actually a wrong relationship. If you realize it’s pulling you away from God and your purpose, then quitting is the best move. But don’t just quit—get prepared.

At SADOZ, we offer Masterclasses on:

Question 2: Did the snake in Genesis really speak to Eve, and how does that compare to Balaam’s donkey speaking?

    Response:
Let’s start with the snake. I believe it didn’t speak verbally. The communication may have been through seduction—perhaps it coiled around the fruit while the devil whispered thoughts into Eve’s mind.

Genesis 3 shows Adam was with Eve. If the snake had spoken audibly, both should have been tempted together. But only Eve was tempted. So it likely wasn’t a verbal conversation but a mental temptation.

Now, Balaam’s donkey speaking was a strange, supernatural event—a sign. It wasn’t a normal occurrence. If the snake had spoken out loud, Eve might have run away. The donkey speaking was God’s miracle for that moment only, not a norm.

So yes, Balaam’s donkey spoke, but that doesn’t mean snakes normally did.

Question3 Why didn’t the disciples understand Jesus’ true mission?

    Response:
They expected a political savior to free them from Roman rule. Israel had no true king—only Herod, a Roman-appointed ruler. So, Jews were desperate for liberation.

    There were four major groups:

    1. Pharisees: Preserved Jewish law, didn’t like Rome but didn’t fight it.

    2. Sadducees: Collaborated with Rome, held religious power.

    3. Essenes: Separatists, lived in isolation (they raised John the Baptist).

    4. Zealots: Freedom fighters (Simon the Zealot was one of Jesus’ disciples).

They thought Jesus would overthrow Rome. That’s why some tried to crown Him king. The Sadducees even saw Him as a threat to their Roman-supported power.

Jesus’ true mission was spiritual, not political. But they didn’t understand until after His resurrection.

Question 4 Why did Jesus often tell people not to reveal His miracles?

    Response:
Jesus had limited time—just 3½ years. Publicity would have restricted His movement. Crowds could hinder His mission to reach other places. That’s why He often slipped away secretly.

Question5: Why did Jesus pray for the cup to pass at Gethsemane, even though He knew His mission?

    Response:
This shows His humanity. In theology, we call this “Christology”—Jesus was fully God and fully man.

At Gethsemane, His human side felt the weight of the coming suffering. It was intense and terrifying. But He submitted to God’s will. That’s our lesson: even when our human nature resists, we must surrender to God’s purpose through the Spirit.

Q5: Yes, I remember. You mentioned during your teaching something about the period between the Old and New Testaments.

A: Right. Let’s talk about that.

During church history, especially when discussing the canonization of the Bible, we see that some books—called the Apocrypha—were not included in the canon. These Apocryphal books are dated between the last Old Testament book (Malachi) and the New Testament (Matthew).

Now, the last Old Testament books—Zechariah and Malachi—focused on the Israelites returning from exile and rebuilding the second temple. The first temple had been destroyed. Scriptures like “Not by power, not by might, but by my Spirit” (spoken to Zerubbabel) were tied to this rebuilding.

But from Malachi to Matthew, there’s a 400-year gap. It’s often called the silent period because no prophet spoke and no new Scriptures were written. However, the Apocryphal books—like 1st and 2nd Maccabees—give us historical insight into what the Israelites went through during that time.

Interestingly, by the time Jesus arrived, Israel had become a monotheistic society. Idol worship had disappeared. This was a gradual shift—not an overnight one—but by the time of John the Baptist and Jesus, you won’t find any mention of idolatry. Instead, Jesus often confronted religious hypocrisy, legalism, and demonic oppression.

Q6: So how come there were so many sick or demon-possessed people if they had left idol worship?

A: Great question. Sickness and oppression are works of the devil, not necessarily tied to idolatry. While idol worship can open doors, other forms of sin and rebellion can do the same.

The Law (Old Covenant) wasn’t a cure—it only covered sin; it couldn’t remove it. That’s why you saw people selling animals in the temple. They were treating sacrifices like a marketplace transaction: Let me sin, then go buy an offering.

That attitude can open the door to spiritual oppression. But the permanent solution to the devil’s oppression wasn’t the Law—it was, and still is, Jesus.

Even during that time, God showed mercy by allowing places like the pool of Bethesda, where an angel stirred the waters and the first to enter was healed. But it was limited. Jesus is the ultimate cure.

    So:

    1. Idol worship isn’t the only door to demonic oppression.

    2. The Law cannot remove sin or oppression.

    3. True freedom comes only through Jesus.

Q6: What about the so-called “Seven Books of Moses”?

A: That’s another common question. People talk about the “Seven Books of Moses,” but we need to ask: Which books are they referring to specifically?

Traditionally, Moses wrote the first five books—Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy—known as the Pentateuch. Anything beyond that, like a 6th or 7th book of Moses, isn’t recognized in the Bible.

There are books that go by the name “Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses,” but they’re not biblical. Some are occultic or magical in nature and were never written by Moses. If you want historical Apocrypha that’s safe to read (for information, not doctrine), you can find them in the Catholic Bible—books like 1st and 2nd Maccabees.

But always remember: These are not authoritative Scriptures. You cannot build doctrine or life principles from them.

Q7: How many temples did Israel have?

A: Two. The first temple was built by Solomon. The second temple was rebuilt after the exile, during the time of Ezra and Nehemiah. Later, Herod expanded it.

All other places of worship, like synagogues, are not temples.

That second temple was destroyed in 70 AD when the Jews (the Zealots) revolted against the Romans. Since then, Israel hasn’t had a temple. They’ve been hoping to rebuild one, but it’s complicated because the Dome of the Rock—a sacred Muslim mosque—now sits on the temple mount.

To destroy that mosque would spark a global conflict. Some believe if it were ever destroyed accidentally—say by war or natural disaster—it might open the door for a third temple.

  • INTERPRETING DREAMS AND REVELATION

    INTERPRETING DREAMS AND REVELATION

Yesterday, I mentioned that night visions—which are revelations—can be as clear as daylight. Once you see it, you understand where it’s going and what it means.

When this brother shared his experience with me this morning, he couldn’t make sense of it. I went back to the revelation and realized:
Sometimes, even when God shows someone a clear revelation, they may not understand it if they are spiritually immature. Not because the revelation isn’t clear—but because they haven’t grown enough to interpret it.

This lack of understanding doesn’t harm them. They haven’t lost anything. But it does show the importance of growth in spiritual matters.

    Personal Example: My Own Revelation

Let me give you an example.

When I was in College of Education, I had to choose a specialization. I liked one department, but it involved typewriting, which was difficult. Then I had a revelation—I saw a typewriter.

When I asked the Lord what it meant, He said it meant I had received a special ability to understand and pass that course. Guess what? I passed with a B, which was not easy.

The same applies to the brother’s revelation. He saw a formula—something he didn’t understand. But whether or not he can interpret it, God has already imparted the understanding into him. The grace has been released.

So, don’t be too anxious if you can’t interpret a dream or revelation. If it’s from God, it will still work in your favor.

    Explanation of Revelation and Understanding

Revelations don’t always require deep interpretation. If you’re spiritually mature, you will know the meaning instantly. Like someone said, “If I had this kind of revelation, I’d understand it immediately.”

And it’s true! A dream can confuse you and even open doors to attacks. But a revelation is meant to build, not confuse.

    My University Experience

When I was in university, I prayed before exams, asking God to help me remember what I read. And in the exam hall, I’d see the exact page of my handout in my mind. As I saw it, I wrote everything out—word for word.

That’s what happens when you receive revelation. You don’t just remember information—you receive divine knowledge and insight.

    Teaching on Dreams and Deliverance

Now to today’s main focus—patterns in dreams and how they affect deliverance.

Let me share a story. A woman once told me her mother begged her from a river goddess. She believed she was connected to marine powers and couldn’t be delivered. But that’s deception!

God gave me an illustration to help explain:
If a woman carried a child in her womb for 9 months, can that child one day say, “I want to be delivered from her womb?” That’s impossible. It’s already a done deal.
But what the person can say is, “This woman never carried me.” That’s how deliverance works. You must deny the origin Satan claims over you—not try to break free from it.

    Correcting Mindsets: Interpreting Dreams Accurately

Many believers give too much power to dreams. You dream of a river and assume you’re tied to marine spirits. But even Ezekiel saw himself by the river—and it was a revelation.

The presence of water doesn’t mean evil. It may mean life, vision, or spiritual depth.

If you dream and see a snake and then miscarry, don’t say the snake caused it. That belief gives Satan a foothold.
Instead, deny the snake’s relevance. Speak the Word of God over your life. Let Scripture be your final authority—not the dream.

Be the scriptwriter of your own destiny. Paint your future with God’s Word. Don’t let the devil write your story through fear-filled dreams.

Today, I wanted to talk about patterning and deliverance. As I was writing the February retreat outline, the Lord reminded me about deliverance and dream patterns.

We must learn to cast out demons, discern dreams, and walk in truth.

Bit by bit, my vision started to return. Gradually. Slowly. Until I began to remind myself of what I knew deep down — the path of the wicked cannot encroach on the inheritance of the righteous. It’s not possible for God to bless me with something, and then the devil comes to snatch it away. What relationship do we share? What kind of fellowship? Can light laugh or partner with darkness? That realization was my freedom.

I chose to deny the experience. I chose to reject it. I said to myself, “This never happened.” Because we walk by faith, not by sight. Our reality is defined by the word of God — not what we see, not what we feel.

When I say, “I am strong,” and someone replies, “Let’s be realistic,” I hold my ground. They might say, “If you’re sick, just say you’re sick,” but I refuse. I’ll never say I’m sick. I’ll never confess lack. When I say, “I am blessed, I have abundance,” and someone tries to shut me down, I know it’s not about avoiding conflict — it’s about holding on to truth.

Of course, especially when it’s your spouse, you must find ways to communicate clearly and with wisdom. My wife might ask, “How much is beans?” and I’ll say, “Ah, this beans…” But I know where I stand. I won’t accept lack — and to the glory of God, the things I spoke to myself in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 — they are manifesting in 2025.

What’s my point? Our reality is the Word. The Bible says, “Who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” What has God said to you? The Bible says, “I will hear what God the Lord will speak — for He will speak peace.”

So if in your dream you saw war, why wake up and start declaring war? Deny it. Say, “No. That’s not my portion. It’s not possible.” If the Word says peace, then peace it is.

My wife once saw a dream where they were preparing a theater room, and I was supposed to be the patient. She was worried. But in that same dream, I said to her, “Forget about it. It has nothing to do with us.” Another vehicle came and carried the person who was meant for that theater — not us. That’s the power of the Word.

Now listen: when you begin to give life to a dream, when you start saying, “Every time I dream this way, something bad happens…” you’re feeding a stronghold. It’s like paying a blackmailer — they’ll keep coming back. The devil brings a bad dream, and you agree with it. No!

Someone said, “Every time I have a wet dream, I fail an exam.” I say, read your books and reject the lie. It has nothing to do with your success. If any man is in Christ, he’s a new creature. Old things are passed away.

Let me share this: I had a dream — or maybe a vision — and I saw only a few people show up at our program. When I woke up, I declared, “Wow! Many people will come!” That’s my interpretation. That’s how I frame it. Another time, someone said she wouldn’t attend. I told her, “You will come. I saw it.” And guess what? She came. They all did.

You see, the devil too can show you visions. The Bible says we are not ignorant of his devices. He wants to deceive you. But me? If I see many people in a dream, I say, “Amen — many more will come.” That’s my reality.

You saw money in a dream? Wake up and say, “Something good is coming to me today!” Let your words match your expectation, because your word is law. Your world is shaped by the Lord. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Let me stop here tonight. Tomorrow, by God’s grace, I’ll go deeper into how to handle dreams — the different categories and the best response to each. I want to break it down into a proper teaching so we can grow in understanding.

  • QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WITH PASTOR IFE Vol.3

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WITH PASTOR IFE Vol.3

Question 1: The “Three Days and Three Nights” Dilemma

“Jesus often predicted that he would die and rise after three days, like the sign of Jonah who spent three days and three nights in the fish. But Jesus died on a Friday and rose on Sunday morning — that’s not literally three nights. Are we misunderstanding something in our modern interpretation? Or is it a Jewish cultural way of counting time?”

    Answer:

The reference comes from Matthew 12:40, where Jesus said:

“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Jesus died on Friday afternoon, was buried before sunset (before Sabbath began), and rose Sunday morning. By Jewish reckoning, any part of a day counts as a full day.

Friday (afternoon before sunset) – Day 1

    Saturday – Day 2

    Sunday morning – Day 3

Though not three literal nights, this “third-day resurrection” is consistent with other scriptures:

Luke 24:46 – “The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day.”

Mark 8:31 – “After three days he will rise again.”

The “three nights” phrase in Matthew is figurative, drawing from Jonah’s experience. It’s not meant to be a mathematical calculation, but a prophetic parallel.

Question 2: Genesis Creation vs. Scientific Understanding of Planets

    Participant:

“Genesis 1 says God created the heavens and the earth. Science tells us about seven or more planets. So is the ‘earth’ in Genesis just our planet? Are the other planets mentioned or accounted for in the Bible?”

    Answer:

Genesis 1:1 — “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
    “Heavens” here includes:

    The sky (atmosphere)

    Outer space

Celestial bodies (stars, sun, moon, planets)

The Bible does not individually name planets, but includes all of them under the broad terms like:

“Lights in the firmament” (Genesis 1:14–16)

    Stars of heaven (Genesis 15:5)

The sun, moon, and stars were created on the fourth day, which would also include the planetary systems we know today.

Our solar system is one of many in the vast “heavens,” and the Genesis creation includes everything within that.

    > “When scripture says one thing and what happened looks different, our belief should be built on what God actually did. Then, go back to recheck your interpretation of what He said. Don’t rush; the understanding may come later, but God will never contradict Himself.”

Additional Question: Old Covenants vs. New Covenant – What About Fathers of Faith?

    Question 3

“We have the New Covenant in Christ, but also see Old Testament covenants like Abrahamic and Davidic ones. Some say we should only focus on the New Covenant. Also, you mention spiritual fathers like Bishop Oyedepo and their ‘grace’ such as the covenant of ease. Is it okay to have many spiritual fathers or mentors?”

    Answer:

    1. Old vs. New Covenant:

The Law of Moses (Old Covenant) was a bridge between Abraham and Jesus.

We are joined to Abraham by faith in Christ — not by obeying the Law.

Galatians makes this clear: we are children of Abraham through Christ.

    2. Abrahamic Blessings:

We are heirs to Abraham’s blessing (Galatians 3:14) through the New Covenant.

So, we don’t reject the Abrahamic covenant — we fulfill it through Christ.

    3. Grace on Spiritual Fathers:

Any grace seen on a spiritual father (e.g., ease, prosperity, favor) originates from Christ.

Tapping into it is simply using that person’s life as a point of contact to access what is already available in Christ.

    4. Impartation & Information:

You can receive impartation and teaching (information) from those you follow closely.

Paul said: “Be followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12)

    5. Multiple Mentors?

You can have many mentors and teachers, but only a few (or one) true spiritual father(s).

Intimacy and time determine the depth of what you can receive.

Example: Studying Bishop Oyedepo’s books and listening to him daily makes his grace easier to flow into your life.

Q4: Ministering to the Sick – Prayer vs. Medical Attention

    > When praying for a sick person, I have faith, but I often know that the sick person doesn’t share the same faith. After praying, if the person asks whether they can seek medical help and I say yes, does that mean I lack faith or that my prayer is invalidated?

    Response:

    1. Faith Required from the Sick Person:

The primary faith required is for the sick person to believe in you as a minister or to simply be open to receiving help.

Even a small level of openness is often enough for God to work.

    2. Encouraging Medical Attention:

Encouraging someone to seek medical help does not invalidate your prayer.

If a case is life-threatening or there’s no immediate improvement, there’s nothing wrong in advising medical care. It’s wisdom, not a lack of faith.

    3. Preparing to Minister:

Spend time in fellowship with God before going to minister. This helps:

    Stir up spiritual power.

Align your spirit with God’s will.

    Increase your discernment.

This time may involve worship, tongues, or simply being in God’s presence.

    4. How to Pray:

Pray with authority and dominion: “In the name of Jesus, I command this sickness to go!”

Avoid uncertain prayers like “God, if it’s your will…”

Be precise and bold in your declarations.

    5. After Praying:

Continue declaring healing for the person, even after leaving.

Keep speaking faith over their life in private.

    6. Medical Attention Can Be Part of God’s Plan:

Sometimes, God allows someone to travel for medical help because there’s a divine encounter waiting there (e.g., restoration, breakthrough).

Like Lazarus, whose death became an opportunity for a greater miracle, we must trust God’s higher wisdom.

    7. Practical Example:

A sister once left after being prayed for and went home for treatment. She later testified that something happened during the trip that positively changed her life. That was God’s orchestration.

    8. Minister to as Many as Possible:

Increase your experience and faith success rate by praying for more people.

Each encounter teaches and trains you, even if not all are healed immediately.

Don’t stop just because some results don’t come instantly.

Q3: The Meaning of “Allah” – Is it the Same as God?

    Question from Participant:

    > I’ve been studying Arabic, Hebrew, and Greek. I noticed that “Allah” in Arabic means God. Some say it’s not the same God. I’m confused—do Arab Christians also use the word Allah for God?

    Response:

    1. Language vs. Context:

In Arabic, “Allah” simply means “God.” Arab Christians also use the word “Allah” in their worship.

Context matters—in Islamic theology, Allah refers specifically to the Islamic concept of God.

    2. Contextual Meaning:

Just like a word in English can have several meanings, “Allah” has layers:

Primary: A general word for God in Arabic.

Specific (Contextual): The Muslim name for their God.

    3. Example for Clarity:

In Nigeria, there’s a place called “New Garage.” Even though technically it should be “Motor Park,” the people agreed to call it “New Garage,” and that becomes its identity.

    Cultural context defines meaning.

    4. Summary:

“Allah” = God in Arabic language.

But when used by Muslims, it carries their religious definition.

Christians in Arab countries still say “Allah” but with a Christ-centered understanding.

  • HOW TO DEAL WITH BAD DREAM 2 – Pst

HOW TO DEAL WITH BAD DREAM 2 – Pst

The aim of this series is simple:

To help believers walk in total deliverance and dominion.

Deliverance from cycles of darkness. Dominion over demonic forces.

And tonight, I want to share an experience that happened today.

Normally, we don’t drive to church because it’s very close. But starting last week, I decided I’ll begin using the car.

Last week, the car belt broke just as we got to church.

Today, the gear oil started leaking seriously.

So we had to park and call a mechanic.

The church branch we were heading to is very close. A shortcut gets us there in about 5 minutes. Even if we go the longer route, it’s just 10 to 15 minutes walk. Yet we took the car and then this happened.

I had to call the same mechanic I used last week. He came, and it took some time to fix. I got home around 7pm.

    Now, here’s the turning point:

    My wife was waiting outside.

She said she had a word in her spirit—she’s quite prophetic. In fact, everyone around me is. If you’re a SADOZite and you’re not prophetic, you probably just don’t want to be.

She said, “This mechanic is visiting an herbalist. He’s doing charms so that there will always be an issue with your car, and you’ll keep calling him.”

Honestly, I believed her. I paid him well, even after catching him in a lie. And he still said he’d come tomorrow to “check again.”

She then told me, “Remove his hand from your car.”

    Now, listen carefully…

As true as her revelation is, I struggled with the idea of “removing his hand” from my car. I didn’t say anything to her, but within me, I was like, Why should I need to remove his hand? Am I not a child of God?

This is my point: You must have a dominion mindset.

If the guy really did a charm, it cannot work on me.

“The rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous.”

But I still needed to address it. So how do I approach it?

There are four levels of response:

    1. Fearful warfare:
“Oh Lord, every hand of darkness, every charm, I wash it away with oil, water, mantle…” That’s praying from a place of fear—like he’s stronger than you.
    2. Authoritative rebuke:
      Lay hands and declare,

“In the name of Jesus, I command every evil hand removed. The rod of the wicked shall not rest on the righteous.”

    3. Dominion mindset:
      No prayer, just declaration:

“It CANNOT work. There is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel.”

    4. Superior consciousness:
      Ask yourself:

Why is his hand effective on my car? What about my own hand?

I touch this car every day. My hand should carry more weight.

He touches the car thinking his charm will work. Why can’t I touch it with the confidence that nothing evil can stay on what’s mine?

This is the challenge with many believers. You believe the revelation, but not the superiority of your covenant.

Let me take you to Scripture:

Gehazi saw the enemy’s army and panicked.

Elisha saw something higher—the host of heaven.

Same scene, two revelations. One brings fear, the other confidence.

You must carry the consciousness of divine presence.

    Say it loud:

    “I carry my Father’s gene.”

    “I don’t fear demons.”

    “I don’t fear charms.”

Even if someone calls your name in the dream, you don’t have to answer. Even if you answered, you can cancel it when you wake up. Go back into the dream realm and rewrite the script. You are the scriptwriter of your life.

Don’t wake up from dreams and start shaking. Dreams are real, yes. But they are subject to your authority in Christ.

You’re not just a prayer warrior.

    Your word is law.

Say it: “My word is law.”

    Let me end with this:

If someone places a charm on your car and it works, you don’t need to remove his hand.

You need to remove your doubt.

Because your hand—your authority—should be stronger.

Have you noticed that those who boast about dreams coming true usually speak of negative dreams?

    Why? Because fear sells.

But it’s time to reject the fear system.

Dreams are a weapon in the hand of the devil if you don’t understand your authority.

But in the hands of a believer, dreams are a gateway to revelation and dominion.

You are the Lord of your life.

    Don’t just accept any dream.

    Correct it. Rewrite it.

    And live boldly.

Q:I haven’t been receiving revelations, but when praying in tongues, I sense applications or scriptures. Sometimes testimonies or thoughts come to mind, but I’m unsure if this is God’s direction. I’ve prayed for visions but still don’t see results. What practical steps can I take?*

    Answer
    1. Consistent Prayer Routine: Wake up between 4–6 AM for focused prayer when distractions are minimal.
    2. Intercede for Others: Pray for people beyond your immediate circle (e.g., nations, ministers, groups like the KBI). Declare God’s counsel over them.
    3. Trust the Process: Even if you don’t “see” visions immediately, impressions or scriptures in your mind are a starting point. Persist in prayer and document what you receive.
    4. Shift Your Focus: Aim to pray for others rather than personal gain. God reveals things to equip you to serve.

Q2:Was John the Baptist’s beheading a martyrdom? Does his death imply a lack of faith?

    Answer:
    – John’s death was tied to his boldness in confronting Herod’s sin (Mark 6:17–29). While some argue he ventured into politics, his role was to prepare the way for Christ (John 3:30).
    – Martyrdom isn’t always about faithlessness; it can fulfill divine purpose. Paul’s imprisonment, for example, allowed him to testify before kings (Acts 9:15).
    – Avoid judging complex biblical narratives. Focus on the legacy of obedience.

Q3:Are there “classes” of miracles? How do some ministers perform instant miracles while others struggle?

    Answer:
    – Revival Context:In revival seasons (e.g., Benson Idahosa’s era), faith operates differently due to heightened spiritual momentum.
    – Anointing Through Prayer: Miracles require both faith and sustained prayer to “generate” power (e.g., praying in tongues, intercession).
    – Practical Training: At retreats, practice praying for specific cases to build confidence. Miracles often follow persistent spiritual labor (James 5:16–18).

Q4:What is the biblical reason for circumcision? Is it still relevant?

    Answer:
    – Old Covenant Sign: A physical mark of Abraham’s covenant (Genesis 17:11) and Jewish identity.
    – New Testament Perspective: Spiritual circumcision of the heart matters most (Romans 2:29). Medical benefits remain, but it’s not salvific.

Q5:Does following God’s will always involve pain? What about Luke 2:35 (Mary’s sorrow)?

    Answer
    – Mary’s Example: Her pain (watching Jesus’ crucifixion) was unique to her role in redemption. Not all believers face such trials.
    – Balanced View: Suffering for faith (e.g., persecution) differs from general life struggles. God often turns trials into glory (Romans 8:18).

Q6. If someone renounces Christ under threat, can they be forgiven?

    – Grace Over Fear: God’s love is steadfast (Romans 8:38–39). A moment of weakness under duress doesn’t negate salvation.
    – Heart Condition: Willful, unrepentant denial is grave, but genuine believers are sealed by the Spirit (Ephesians 1:13–14).

  • EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DREAM

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DREAM

Let me begin this teaching by asking:

What are your thoughts about dreams?

This is our first class on dreams, and I want us to engage together. I’ll start with Sister Marker.

Sister Marker, what do you think about dreams?

Then Dr. Blessing, you’ll go next.

    > Dr. Blessing:
“Good evening, sir. Happy new month. I consider dreams as a way through which God can reveal things to us. But it also operates in a subconscious state, which means the enemy can use it to attack believers too.”
    Thank you, Ma.

    > Loveth
“Sometimes, dreams are a way God uses to reveal things to us or help us know what’s coming. That’s my thought, sir.”

Now, let’s go fully into the study

    Who Controls the Dream Realm?

Who do you think is the biggest player in dreams—God, the devil, or your own mind?

    Let me tell you clearly:
God is not the center of your dream world.
Dreams are canal—they happen in the realm of the soul and flesh.
God is spiritual. When you give your life to Christ, God moves from dealing with your canal nature and starts working with your spirit. He expects you to take charge of your life: your body, your soul, and your spirit. Many Christians are being dominated in their dream realm because they are not exercising their spiritual authority. You are the Lord of your life—you are the director of your dreams.

Let me tell you a story:

Let me give you an example. A lady got married, and her husband told her, “My mother is a witch.” The mother-in-law later told her, “You either join me or never have a child.”

They traveled abroad to escape but still couldn’t conceive. Then, in a dream, the woman saw the mother-in-law entering her poultry and collecting eggs. She complimented her, not realizing the eggs symbolized her fertility.

Eventually, she got bold in the dream and said, “Drop the eggs and leave my poultry now!” And the witch left. That very month, she got pregnant and gave birth. Why? Because she took charge of her dream.

You must control your dream realm. Dreams are not just random events—they are personal. They are your private property. If someone appears in your dream doing what you didn’t script, challenge them. Speak up, even in your dream. When you recognize it’s a dream, you must take charge.
You are the director. You are the scriptwriter.

When you understand that your dreams are yours, you won’t allow intrusions.

For example, if your real name is Tobi and someone calls you Tade in a dream, you wouldn’t answer. Why?
Because you know your real name—even in the dream!

This shows your mindset affects your dream.

    Dreams vs Revelation

    Let’s clarify this:
God does not speak through dreams; He speaks through revelation.

If a dream does not reveal a secret, a truth, or a future, it’s not from God.
If a dream does not reflect your spiritual mindset or authority, it is null and void.

What If You Can’t Remember a Dream?

Someone may say, “Please pray for me. I don’t remember my dreams.”
You don’t need to worry about dreams you didn’t author.

If it’s important, God will reveal it clearly and you’ll remember.
If it’s not clear or you forget it—it’s not your script.

    IN CONCLUSION:

Your dream is your script. If the devil writes it and you accept it, you have adopted it as your own. But if you reject it, it is null and void.

Don’t live your day worried because of a dream that wasn’t from God or from your own spiritual mind.

    Say it loud:
“I am the Lord of my life!
    I direct my dream world.
    I am the scriptwriter.”

  • QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS with PASTOR IFE ADETONA (1)

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS with PASTOR IFE ADETONA (1)

Question 1:Why did the Lord want to kill Moses in Exodus 4:24?

Answer: Great question. Let’s read the scripture:

    > Exodus 4:24 (KJV): “And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to kill him.”

Now, if you read further, you’ll notice a switch in the terminology:
    > “Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son… so He let him go…”

Here, the capital “LORD” is later referred to as “He”, indicating possibly an angelic representation of God. In the Old Testament, the term “Angel of the Lord” is often used interchangeably to refer to a an angwho speaks with the authority of God.

Isaiah 63:9 refers to “the angel of His presence”, which some interpret as the same divine figure that interacts with humanity on behalf of God. Some believe this angel is a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ; others see it as a specific angel assigned to represent God’s presence.

The Lord (or the angel) sought to kill Moses because Moses had neglected to circumcise his son—a direct violation of the covenant God gave Abraham. This wasn’t just cultural; it was a divine command. Moses’ wife, Zipporah, resisted due to her Midianite background, but when she saw Moses’ life was at stake, she complied.

This was not just punishment, but a divine action to preserve covenant integrity before Moses could lead Israel.

Question 2:What is the difference between grace and truth, and how do they relate?

Answer: This question arises from scriptures like:

John 1:14: “…full of grace and truth.”

John 1:17: “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”

    Let’s use an analogy:

Imagine “law” as a system that says: “You must pass JAMB to gain admission.”

Then a new president comes and says: “You don’t need JAMB anymore; just be willing to learn.”

Both groups of students end up in the same class. Some still boast about their JAMB results, but in reality, JAMB was removed.

Grace is the new policy—getting admission (salvation) without writing JAMB (law). Truth is the clarification that this new system was always God’s original plan.

So grace gives unmerited favor; truth affirms that this method is authentic and was always intended. Grace and truth work together—not against each other.

Question 3:If we are seated far above principalities, why do demons still access and oppress believers?

Answer: Excellent point. Spiritually, we are seated with Christ far above principalities (Ephesians 2:6), but physically, we still live in a fallen world governed by spiritual laws.

Think of it like buildings on reclaimed land (e.g., sand-filled waters in Lagos). The water is still there underneath, but engineers have systems to manage it.

Believers are like those buildings. Spiritually, they stand above demonic influences. But without proper spiritual control systems—understanding, authority, faith, and maturity—those demonic “waters” can still seep in.

Even Paul mentioned a “messenger of Satan” afflicting him (2 Corinthians 12:7), and Jesus Himself said:

    > “In this world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

So yes, demons have limited access on Earth because the Earth is still under the influence of the enemy until full redemption at Christ’s return. But we are empowered to overcome by knowing our authority.

Question 4:Why are people not struck dead today like Ananias and Sapphira? Has grace made God change?

    Answer: Let’s break this down:

    1. Did God kill Ananias and Sapphira directly?

Not necessarily. The text implies Peter may have acted in zeal, and the deaths were a consequence of that spiritual atmosphere. Peter wasn’t shocked by their deaths. He seemed to expect them.

    2. Has God changed?

No. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

However, the administration of His judgment differs in dispensations. In the Old Testament, judgment was often swift to uphold covenantal purity. In the New Testament, under grace, God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9).

    3. Does grace mean no consequences?

No. It means there’s mercy, but also discipline. God still judges, but He now does it with the goal of restoration, not destruction.

Question 5:God is a jealous God. Yet jealousy isn’t a fruit of the Spirit. Should Christians be jealous?

Answer: God’s jealousy is holy and righteous—a deep passion to protect His relationship with His people, not envy or insecurity.

Human jealousy, as described in Galatians 5, is usually rooted in sin—envy, selfishness, or comparison.

So, no, Christians should not model carnal jealousy. But we can have godly zeal, a passionate commitment to God’s ways and His people.

    Question 6:Can God kill?

Answer: Yes, He can, but the question is: Does He delight in killing?

Absolutely not. Ezekiel 33:11 says, “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked.”

There are instances in scripture where God allowed or commanded death, but always for justice, covenant, or protection of His purpose. Under grace, He still has the power to judge, but His mercy delays destruction.

Now, there is no tribe of people that ever died in the Old Testament whose cup wasn’t full. God said, “I want to go to Sodom again.” The angel of the Lord’s presence said, “I want to go to Sodom and Gomorrah to see if the things I heard are true.”

Why was God checking Sodom? Yet Israel, the most sinful people on earth, remained. Do you know why God allowed the Israelites to spend 430 years in Egypt? It was because He wanted to give the people of Canaan a chance to repent. He was watching to see if their generation would turn away from sin.

But they did not. So God planned, “I will replace these people with the Israelites, and they will teach righteousness to the whole world. That way, there would be no need to kill anyone anymore.”But that plan didn’t work.God then said, “Okay, for the sin of man, which gives permission…”

On God’s Justice and the Accuser:

There is also an accuser—Satan—who goes to God and says, “These people are supposed to die.”

    God will ask, “Why?”

Satan responds, “Because in your book, it says the soul that sins shall die.”

God replies, “But they have paid for their sins.”

Then Satan asks, “Who paid for them?”

And God says, “I will send my Son to pay.”

Jesus says, “In the meantime…” Remember, Abraham once said to God, “Will the Judge of all the earth not do what is just?” This doesn’t mean “will He kill or spare,” it means “will He do what is right.”

So the killings in the Old Testament were according to the law of God.

    Analogy of a Judge:

If a judge sentences a criminal to death by hanging, who killed the person?

Was it the judge? Was it the law?

The law killed him—it was the consequence of his sin.

So if you become a judge and someone is guilty, but you set them free unjustly, that’s wrong. That’s not justice.

God is just—yesterday, today, and forever. Whether that judgment favors you or not, He remains just.

On Men of God Killing People:

The issue of a man of God killing people is complex. Sometimes demons may be involved; sometimes angels.

Take Elijah as an example. When he saw the 51 people, he said, “If I be a man of God, let fire come down.”

God didn’t necessarily ask Elijah to do that, even if the people were guilty. Their main sin wasn’t talking to Elijah—it was the inherited sin of Adam. But Elijah pronounced judgment by his own wisdom.

Because of that, Elijah wasn’t allowed to live long.

Even David, though he fought battles for God, was not allowed to build the temple because of the blood on his hands.

So prophets who curse or call down judgment may see results, but they often don’t live long. Unless they are very poor and their curses are more like complaints—but generally, strong ones who curse or call down judgment don’t live long.

    On God’s Jealousy:

Now, you asked about jealousy. If someone has a husband or wife and that spouse cheats, is the other person not permitted to be jealous?

So when God says, “I am a jealous God,” it means He doesn’t want you to have another god beside Him. It’s like a man who has a wife and the wife has a side guy—of course, the man is permitted to be jealous.

God is jealous for us. We’ve claimed to be His own. He’s our husband—we are His bride. He has every right to be jealous.

But this jealousy is not about money or riches. God isn’t jealous because you passed an exam. God doesn’t compare Himself with humans like that.

  • PHILIPPIAN DISCIPLES – Pst. Ife Adetona

PHILIPPIAN DISCIPLES – Pst. Ife Adetona

When a church or group of believers is blessed with spiritual gifts and abundant resources but lacks in a particular area, it’s essential for God to bring it to our attention. This way, we can address the issue and enjoy the fullness of God’s blessings.

A Philippian Disciple as a Model for Spiritual Growth

Tonight, we’re examining A Philippian Disciple as a model for our own spiritual growth. When we think of Philippians, many of us immediately recall the promise in Philippians 4:19: “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.” This verse highlights the generosity and giving spirit of the Philippian church. However, our focus tonight is not just on their generosity towards God’s work, but specifically on their giving to their spiritual leaders, particularly, Paul.

In contrast to the Corinthian believers, whom Paul rebuked for their poor giving attitude, the Philippian church demonstrated a remarkable commitment to supporting their spiritual father. Paul devoted a significant portion of his letter to commending and expressing gratitude for their kindness, emphasizing its significance in their relationship with him.

Unlike the Corinthian church, the Philippian church received commendation from Paul.

    Supporting Spiritual Leaders

I want to highlight something important to us as SADOZ’s family. We are blessed in many areas, and when it comes to giving to God’s work, some of us do so with a whole heart. I want to share Philippians 4:10-11 with you: “I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. You have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me.” Paul acknowledges their concern and support.

Notice Paul’s character: he doesn’t make demands or burden his people like some leaders do. As your pastor, I emulate this example. Paul continues in verse 11, “Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have.” He demonstrates humility and gratitude, recognizing God’s provision in all circumstances.

I’ve never tried to burden anyone with my personal or ministerial needs. In fact, one of my daughters recently shared with me that she and her spouse admire my approach. They said, “You’re the only minister of God who doesn’t make us feel guilty or obligated when you reach out to us.” That’s because my intention is to care for you, not to obligate you.

However, this approach has two sides. While it may make you feel relaxed and unobligated, it’s essential to remember that intentional support and care for your spiritual leaders are crucial. That’s why I’m sharing this message with you today.

Four Reasons We Struggle with Giving

I’ve identified four key reasons why we should prioritize this, and the first reason is that many of us are unaware of our responsibility to do so. We don’t know that we ought to be supporting our spiritual leaders in this way.

Giving is not a natural inclination for many people; it’s a practice that needs to be learned and cultivated.

There are four key reasons why we struggle with giving to our spiritual leaders:

    1. We don’t know we ought to: Many of us are unaware of the importance of intentionally supporting our pastors and teachers.

    2. We don’t know the benefits: We may not realize the advantages that come from giving to our spiritual leaders.

    3. We don’t recognize the spiritual law: Giving to our spiritual leaders is a fundamental principle in the kingdom of God.

    4. We don’t know it’s the key to answered prayers: Giving to those who pray and teach us is what brings “amen” (so be it) to our prayers and heart desires.

The Importance of Supporting Spiritual Leaders

While we are all ministers and children of God, the Bible teaches that specific gifts were given to men, such as apostles and prophets, to build up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:8-12). Understanding this helps us appreciate the importance of supporting those who have been gifted to serve us spiritually.

God establishes a special relationship with certain individuals, granting them the authority to decree “amen” on our prayers. When they pray for us or bless us, we believe God answers because of their relationship with Him. Imagine having the privilege to partner with someone who has the power to seal God’s answers to our prayers.

When you give to such a person, you’re essentially saying “amen” to God’s blessings in your life. Your giving is not just a gesture to them, but a declaration of faith to God. That’s why our service and giving are incomplete until we learn to intentionally support our pastors and teachers materially.

I’m teaching this with the awareness that some of you may not be directly under my ministry, but I’m sharing this principle with you anyway, as it’s a universal truth that applies to all believers.

    Reciprocating Blessings

Do you listen to me? Good. But it’s even more important to be a blessing to your pastor, the person you consider your spiritual leader. I believe in reciprocating blessings – if someone has been a blessing to me, I make it a point to be a material blessing to them as well. I’m still learning and growing in this area.

Let’s look at Philippians again. Paul says, “I have learned to be content with whatever I have” (Philippians 4:11).

But don’t be fooled – Paul wasn’t always content. He experienced hunger and poverty, and he knew how to live with almost nothing. He said, “I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything” (Philippians 4:12-13).

Paul’s secret was his ability to adapt and trust God in all circumstances. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it’s with abundance or scarcity. Paul experienced times of plenty and times of need, but he never let his circumstances define him. He refused to let his struggles show or use them as an excuse because he knew that doing so could hinder the gospel’s purpose and make it seem like his trust was in people rather than God.

But this principle is two-sided. On one hand, it can lead to neglecting our responsibility to give. On the other hand, the Philippian church understood the spiritual law that governs giving. As Paul wrote, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). They knew that their giving was not just about meeting Paul’s needs, but about partnering with God’s work and trusting in His strength.

Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, whether I’m full or hungry, with plenty or little” (Philippians 4:13). He acknowledged the Philippian church’s support during his difficult time, saying, “You have done well to share with me in my present difficulty” (Philippians 4:14).

The Example of Isaac and the Blessing of Sacrificial Giving

This reminds me of Isaac, who asked his son Esau to fetch him food before blessing him (Genesis 27:4). There’s a special blessing that comes from being happy with someone who has met our needs. Even after the blessing, we remember their kindness and feel compelled to specially attend to them. They hold a place in our hearts because they were there for us in our time of need.

Similarly, when God perceives Noah’s “sweet-smelling sacrifice” (Genesis 8:21), He is pleased. We can hold a special place in God’s heart by showing gratitude and support to those who have been there for us.

He blessed Noah after the sacrifice (Genesis 8:20-21). He blessed Abraham after their encounter (Genesis 18:1-15).

This illustrates a spiritual law: blessings follow giving, not just immediately, but continually.

Now, consider the man of God who decrees “amen” to your prayers, who preaches and teaches you. Imagine the magnitude of blessings that can come from supporting such a person.

    My Personal Testimony of Giving

Let me share my personal story. In 2020, we faced financial struggles. Then, I was challenged to regularly give to my spiritual father. After discussing it with my wife, we started giving, and things began to turn around.

The rapid transformation during that 2020 lockdown wasn’t just due to our recent giving; it was the accumulation of all our previous sacrifices and giving, which had been stored up like harvest waiting to be reaped. But that day, that moment, was like a breakthrough. The most interesting part is that I went back to that church and wrote a cheque for 50,000 naira, sending it to the general overseer as a thank-you for the teachings.

Later that year, in December, I attended Shiloh for the first time and sought opportunities to bless my mentor and father. I wrote another check for the same amount to Bishop David Oyedepo, who had been a blessing to me. That year marked a significant financial shift for us, moving us to another phase.

Why didn’t we move to that phase earlier? Because there was one more thing we needed to do. And since then, we’ve made it a regular and intentional practice, not just with him, but with other ministers of God as well.

I recall stumbling upon a man of God’s messages and being deeply blessed. I decided to reach out to him and asked how I could send money to him. Interestingly, many people who have been blessed by our ministry often ask for prayer or help with a problem when they first contact me. But my approach was different – I sought to bless him first.

I have a question. Shouldn’t we prioritize giving back to those who have blessed us spiritually?

I’m not saying this because I need something, but because I’ve experienced it myself. I’ve seen the impact of this principle in my life and ministry, and I believe it’s a vital lesson for all of us. The act of giving to those who have blessed us spiritually opens up doors for God’s blessings in our own lives.

The Spiritual Principle of Sowing and Reaping

This principle of giving is rooted in the law of sowing and reaping. As Paul writes in Galatians 6:6-7, “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” When we give to those who teach and guide us spiritually, we are sowing seeds into fertile ground. These seeds will yield a harvest of blessings in our lives, both spiritually and materially.

    Creating a Culture of Generosity

As a church and as individuals, we should strive to create a culture of generosity. This means being intentional about supporting our spiritual leaders and those who minister to us. It’s not just about meeting their needs; it’s about partnering with them in the work of the kingdom and recognizing the spiritual impact of our giving.

    The Joy of Giving

Giving should be a joyful act. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, Paul reminds us, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” When we give out of love and gratitude, rather than obligation, our giving becomes a source of joy and a reflection of our trust in God’s provision.

    A Call to Action

Tonight, I want to encourage each of you to reflect on how you can support your spiritual leaders. Consider the blessings you’ve received through their ministry and think about how you can give back. It’s not about the amount; it’s about the heart and intention behind your giving.

Let’s make it a point to be intentional in our giving, recognizing that it is an act of worship and partnership in God’s work. As we do so, we can trust that God will honor our giving and bless us abundantly.

Father, we thank you for the lesson tonight on the importance of giving and supporting our spiritual leaders. Help us to cultivate a generous spirit and to be intentional in our giving. May our gifts be a blessing to those who have blessed us, and may they bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, amen.
