Pastor DamSam introduced me to the School of Academic Success. He was a stranger to me at the time, yet caring enough to take interest in me and my academics. When I first enrolled in the School of Academic Success course, I didn’t know what to expect, but I believed it could turn things around for me. Honestly, it has been one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had.

From the School of Academic Success, I have learned goal setting, time management, and study techniques, to mention just a few. I’ve learned to set goals in my academics and take practical steps to achieve them. Before, I wasn’t able to use the time I had effectively, but with the lessons from the course, I am now able to manage my time properly and use it to achieve things of value. The study techniques that this course revealed to me have been transformative. The way I now study has changed drastically—I am now able to study faster and retain vital information. During the lessons, I felt assured and knew that there would be improvements in my academic abilities.

The course has significantly impacted the way I approach my academics. The strategies I learned—such as goal setting, creating a study timetable, and trusting God—have made my workload feel more manageable. I’ve become more confident in my abilities and more consistent in my study habits. Now, I no longer wait until the last minute to complete tasks. I find myself studying for longer periods and staying focused. This positive shift in my mindset has not only improved my academic performance but also strengthened my overall self-discipline.

Looking back on my experience, the journey through the School of Academic Success has truly been life-changing. I now apply every lesson I’ve learned to every area of my academics, believing that it is enough to make me the very best. The School of Academic Success didn’t just teach me how to study—it taught me how to believe in my own ability to succeed, and in God.
