When your wife (or husband) says she’s not comfortable with your relationship with the opposite sex, ….Pst. Ife ADETONA

When your wife (or husband) says she’s not comfortable with your relationship with the opposite sex, it’s not a matter of “there is nothing between us”. The fact that she sees something she’s not comfortable with is enough. Even if you think she’s a witch she’s still right.

It is the same when you’re in a courtship, the only clause about courtship is that you have the choice to choose between the courtship and your friendship with that person. But in marriage, you must choose the marriage.

If you can discuss this with her and you agree on some limiting terms, that’s OK. But she has the final answer. If she says no, it is a no. It’s the same if it’s the man that has issues with her wife’s relationship with the opposite sex. That’s why you need to choose with sense whom you are committing to.

The Bible is balanced.
Sarah was no longer comfortable with Hagar and Ishmael around, she told Abraham to send them out. That was Abraham’s biological first son o. Abraham didn’t call Sarah a witch, he went to God. Guess what God said? God sent him back to obey his wife.

This is the biggest part. Normally, Abraham was to send them away with male and female servants and property enough for them to settle down. Sarah won’t allow that. Hagar only had a bottle of water, bread and prayer.

Gen 21:14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba
